Often described as a man with a great sense of humour, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - probably the most famous classical music composer in the world - has written many happy pieces in his short but extremely prolific career. A former child prodigy, he wrote more than 600 works, many acknowledged as pinnacles of symphonic, chamber, operatic and choral music, leaving a profound mark on the history of classical music.
