I'm not a fan of Tucker. But, to be fair, I think covering the atrocities committed on Palestinian Christians was rather clever. Obviously his audience would identify with them; thus, they're more willing to acknowledge, or pay attention to the brutality of the whole conflict.

Exactly. He's been on the air and popular for decades. He knows what he's doing, and it will be more effective than any amount of shaming, blaming, or complaining. He's making it personal for his viewers, which is what typically drives change.
It would have more impact (and credibility) if it wasn’t pointed out by Carlson. It just seems like more White Christian victimhood coming out of his mouth. Christians are no more a victim of this genicide than their fellow Muslim countryfolk. If that’s what it takes to get people to take notice (Christians who don’t give a crap about Muslims being starved and bombarded), it would hold more weight if it were coming from someone other than Carlson and his ilk.

Tucker is speaking to evangelicals and explaining that Christianity is under attack in the holy land because of their actions. If this helps end the genocide in Gaza, why does it matter if he focuses on discussing the plight of Christians.
I was just about to write this. Tucker is speaking to his crowd in a way that may help them see the immorality of Israel's actions and erode support, which would benefit ALL Palestinians. Ana completely missed the point.

I think Tucker bringing up the issue on his show is a step towards the right direction, but it would be nice to see him interview a Imam/sheikh, or other groups of Palestinians who are affected by Israel to do a fairer job at reporting

Both sides have soft spots for certain groups that they want to highlight and when they do, the other side complains "why not all?" or dismisses it as "we already know."

Anna I think you are missing a key point here. The reason for Tucker going after Christians was not disregarding Muslims, it was to maximize his impact for the case he wanted to make. It was quiet smart.

Yeah it's because Armenians always get the short end of the stick. Really over the last 2,000 years they probably face more persecution than Jews at large. Then again there's arguments to be made on both sides and why they get the level of persecution which they do.

Tucker did criticise Israel for killing Palestinians in the past, multiple times. Here he just focused on christians because nobody else really talks about it. But I do agree religion is irrelevant here, nobody should suffer like this.
Tucker has supported all lives in Palestine. I think the purpose of him pointing out Christians in particular is because those that are especially staunch defenders of Israel no matter what also happen to be Christian. It’s a brilliant way to shine light on the injustice that the Palestinians have been facing
People are tribal, sometimes the only way to get people to empathise is to show similarities. Tucker has been brave in this, as he will be hated by a lot of people for this story.

The value of human life is absolutely independent on which believe they have and a dead child has never had a chance of believing anything.

Tucker did talk only about Christians, but pastor Isaac clearly said on a number of occasions that they share the same faith as their Muslim neighbors, he also referred to himself

Some versions of Christian Gods do not grant access to heaven for simply believing.
Some versions only grant access to heaven for a predetermined group of individuals.
Some versions get upset when you try to trick them and are unlikely to grant access to heaven because of that. So if one was to pretend to believe would your god be fooled by that?

I don't consider myself left or right but I hold conservative views& my respect for Tucker only grows, love that guy. I think it's very sad how many Christians and right leaning ppl I would usually listen to support this evil.
The point of the interview (I think) was to speak to a particular group - Christians who are supporting Israel. It should be obviously true that the faith of those being killed shouldn't matter, but if you consider the target of the interview (who it is speaking to), then the focus of the interview makes sense. Don't mistake a targeted strategy for a lack of empathy.

And that's how change happens because people care about their own interests more than anything else. It is smart and much more effective than name-calling, shaming, or begging. Far too many people get caught up in moral purity these days to realize that the world doesn't operate on those terms. Even if Carlson is a white nationalist, he is anti-war and calling for peace. We could do worse than follow that lead.
I’ve seen a few Palestinian Christians interviewed on YT, and it’s always the same: hamas and islamists are rarely a problem, esp with policing within territories against more extreme elements like salafists, but settlers/idf/bombs are a MASSIVE problem for them and far worse.

13:30 I’m a lifelong Christian born and raised in the US. I never been to Israel, nor Palestine, but I’ve always supported Palestine because I’m of Irish descent and the Irish have always stood strongly with Palestinians. I say all that to say this, I followed that story about nationwide attacks on Christians by Jewish People throughout Israel. It wasn’t just in the Israeli settlements. It was nationwide and has been going on for a while, but in the months before the Israeli government finally had to do something about it it was just rampant. That was actually about a month or two before the Hamas attack last Oct. The thing about it is, you don’t see that stuff in Palestine. For all the anti Palestinian propaganda and making Palestine out to be some kind of extreme islamic state where you’d be slain for being Christian, you’re not gonna get any videos like that of Christians in Palestine being treated like that by Muslims. Palestine is A LOT more secular than most people realize. Sure, Hamas is Islamist, by definition meaning they’re for an Islamic state, but as far as Islamist militant groups go, such as ISIS and Taliban and so forth, in practice, Hamas is more focused on Israel’s trying to protect Palestine’s borders from Israel. The Christians in Palestine, of which there are many, will tell you themselves it’s not Hamas that gives them trouble, it’s the Israelis who do.
So, yes, Hamas is F’d up, but i don’t put them in the same the category with ISIS and so on. And as far as Palestine being very secular, the PLO is secular, Fatah is secular, most Palestinian militant groups have been secular. Hamas is NOT secular, neither was Hezbola, but Palestine itself is a pretty secular society.
