How to Choose the Right Statistical Test

If statistical decisions could be laid out perfectly in a flowchart, then computers can do an entire analysis from choosing the right tool to reaching a conclusion. But, this is not possible.
There are many different types of statistical analysis. Choosing the correct analytical approach for your situation can be a daunting process. Knowing what type of project you have and what sort of data you will collect can be useful in determining the best analytical approach.
