Nice video! I have a TR-80 myself. Back in the day I was interested in the CoCo.

Excellent work brother, you've got a good voice for narration and both your camera work and your editing are on point, great musical choices and timing with it too, it's always nice to find a new retro tech channel covering a system you don't see too many other channel's covering already so I'm glad the algorithm recommended this vid to me, excited to get in on the ground floor and become your 25th subscriber, looking forward to seeing you make more vids, with your stylistic choices and talent for producing content your channel will def blow up soon

@@8-BitRerun no doubt, I meant every word that I said, you really do have the knack for this in terms of both having something interesting to say and being able to express it through the medium of film so def keep it up, and it isn't releasing things often so much as it is releasing things regularly that helps channels grow so feel free to take your time creating the next few videos before you release any more so that you have a stock pile of vids that are ready to be released as you work on new ones so that you can maintain a regular release schedule even if you fall behind in your production

Awesome video, love it! Couple of questions, what tool did you use to remove those keys? and what grit sandpaper did you use for those more stubborn stains? Thank you for video...I have an old TRS80 (same model) I would like to do this too as well.

I used a keycap puller that came with a set of keycaps for my MX keyboard, but you can find similar ones on Amazon. Just search for "keycap puller". Can't remember what grit I used, but it was very fine indeed! Above 1000 grit maybe. The sandpaper will change the texture a bit so be gentle, and try to keep the area you sand limited to the stain. Good luck!

@@8-BitRerun it's a pain if you want to move/swap the computer (I have multiple CoCos)... normally routed behind a desk and tangled with other cords...
I installed a USB-C socket where the (U.S.) cord comes out the back... super convenient and (again, non-PAL models) almost no case modification.
I made a video about it... "Cutting the Cord"
