This is the version of the Submariner that the Steinhart Ocean One was emulating. The bezel and crown guards are different from most versions of the Submariner.
5 digit downside is always the buckle would not sit in the middle with one side links longer than the other. Some even switch the bracelet the other way round so its centred but the buckle is upside down which might some time to get used to it.
I had to take a link out and adjust the micro settings but I finally got it right. I never considered switching the bracelet around but I almost sold it for that reason. I have the 2009 solid end links.
@@jessedavis7555 another option is to swap the clasp for a modern one. Actually did it last week and its WAY more comfortable. it. just fits the old bracelet like a charm

Yup, i wear the buckle on mine exactly like you said upside down, otherwise its too uncomfortable :D
