a friend sent this to me... sorry I didn't give you the oil pan, but you got the truck with NO engine... yup, the pans are different... glad you used the header though....
Hey Brother , don't forget you need the 4x4 oil pick-up tube as well AS the Pan as the 4x4 pan is deeper and further away , I just ran into the same problem as I watched your video for help LoL 😜🙈 unfortunately
I swear my Z24 In my 89/90 D21 is the exact same as a 720 despite everyone saying it's not. As far as I know it's never had an engine swap, but it looks like the older 720 version
Hey boss this is kind of late but the difference between the two is that the one in the hardbody is a Z24I. The regular Z24 is carburated meanwhile Z24I was fuel injected. (Throttle Body Fuel Injection). Some of the last 720's came with the Z24i but depending on what model/trim you got
Well that’s anticlimactic 🤦🏻♂️😂 I have three 4x4 720’s with one spare motor out of another 4x4 that I’m getting ready to rebuild for my Bushmaster. The one that’s in it is toast, I’ll rebuild it later and hold onto it if I blow one. Can’t wait to see yours run👊🏻
Wrong oil pan. That oil pan is 2wd. When I 1st saw the pan I figured the truck was 2wd. Then I saw the grill. I'm thinking Hmmmmm. I must have did something wrong. I had 31in tires. I did my engine and didn't need 2 pull them off... or the hood. Oh well. He sure is quick w/ that ratchet.
Fu.... you know, I imagine you have already meassured everithing, change the oil pan or make a cut away to the one you have, dont you have the original one?. Or was it diesel??
juan rossi I’m working on getting the correct oil pan. I bought the truck without an engine, so I don’t have the original pan. I have to have the correct engine and all original components to get it to pass smog here in CA. So it’s been a struggle to find the correct parts. But I’m getting close👍
Sorry! to see you are having such a problem with the Nissan's motor. I know you waited a long time for it. I have faith you will figure something out, due to your confidence and competence in your abilities. Good luck with the rest of your builds.
Hello. As a fellow 720 owner I greatly enjoyed this video. I got a 4x4 and can confirm thats the wrong oil pan. D:
This is great..this is really gonna help me when I swing the engine to replace the rear seal...great work bro.
It's a pain to get to the transmission bolts unless you pull it out as an assembly
Thank you for making these videos I have to rebuild my z24 engine

Dang man I was hoping you had sort of detailed instructions on the valve adjustment segment. I have got to do that to mine.
I was waiting for the bread technique on that crank bushing. Never seen that before you. Sorry about the troubles.
Stephen DeMocko that bushing was so thin I didn’t think it would work. Thanks for the comment 👍
Filagega number to use for setting tampent

Did you use any sealant on the engine rear plate? If so what kind? Thanks.

Привет.Какие зазоры выставлял щупом на клапанах?Впуск и выпуск.
I don’t remember, but you can do a google search, thats what I usually do.
@@Jerod_Helt Спасибо за информацию.Я нашел информацию.Два разных параметра.Буду пробовать выставлять зазоры.
Wow; that sucks! A little setback but maybe with a different oil pan you should be set. Everything else looking great!
Whys your block red mines blue
Someone painted it before I got it
I think it would be great if u explain step by step what u r doing.
I’ve started doing that in my newer videos
Thats a nice front bumper. Where did you get it?
It came with the truck
That is a OEM bumper. It just has a nerf bar on it.
Ugh, that is bummer. It always seems like two steps forward and three steps back sometimes with these jobs.
Oh man I would be livid. That sucks
