Just bought one for $1 from my Grandfather - the very truck I learned to drive on at 13 years old. These are worth preserving! I hope to get mine on the road again soon.
I love it man great work i have Nissan 1985 mini truck 4 gears never open the engine sound so good but these days the temperature getting close the half i think maybe the head gasket i wish i can send it to you to fix it but glad to see people still have old nissan trucks 👍
Hey Jared, I just watched all the bushmaster vids. I’m a 720 enthusiast. I have 5. Let me know if you still need the 4x4 pan. I know where one is in a junk yard. I’m on the east coast, but it may be worth it to you. Engine build vids were pretty great. I know a lot of guys am that struggle with the timing due to the oil pump lining up correctly with the distributor. Anyway, great vids. I’d love to own a bushmaster, maybe one day. You have a new fan.
NVRLWENF thanks for the comment. Yes I still need an oil pan and possibly the oil pick up tube. Please email me at jnhclassics@gmail.com. Thanks buddy👍
Man, I'd love it if I could drive our 1983 again. It's sitting in my driveway. I just finished washing it for the first time in 20 years. I used to wash it for fun in the 80's, and 90's as a kid. But...it's going to be a very similar project to yours if I decide to get into it. I'm wondering how much money it would take.
The Bushmaster is finally rolling, good job! I like that car, it looks really eighties and quite nice from the outside. Do you plan to keep it? It might be really handy with all that room it offers. What's next to roll again? The Landcruiser?
Great! Just a pity you had to work more because of the pan/differential issue. I just hope you can get the right pan to get everything in place as it should. 💪👍
It’s a vacuum and that sucks the fluid out. It works ok and can be done with one person. But two people doing it the old fashioned way works much better👍
I recently drove a 1984 model and the windows rattled in it also. It was a daily driver that was put in a museum because it was in mint condition. so it must be some design failure
Yeah, it was extremely hard to find the correct oil pan. I’m good at finding hard to find parts, but it still took months to find and actually get one. There were a few that fell through and one that I bought but it turned out to be the wrong one.
Didn't even know about the Bushmaster until I saw this video. Then I looked it up. Nice going, excellent work.

I had an old nissan truck like this and did watching this take me back. Great work.
Great work getting the Nissan back on the road. Time for you and Walter to celebrate!
That truck looks so good! Love the vids!
Wow, it looks awesome. I love the look of the 720.
Way to go, Jared! Amazing work as always. Excited for the FJ.

Great work. Makes me want to get out and work on my 240z. Hope to see it in person one day since I live in Gardena
Nice to see it on the road!

That flat area on the upper ball joint is there to smack with a hammer to disengage it from the hub.
Engine sounds great win!
Great work!
Wonderful how fun
tengo una nissan 720 cabina sencilla e igual la encontre en las mismas condiciones desbielada y reconstrui el motor genial excelente video
Excellent!!

hevog the engine should be back in the Land cruiser soon. Not sure if it will be the next one to drive though👍

Véndeme los soportes de la 4x4
Bushmaster looks great! Are you in the USA? Are you fixing up to keep or sell? How about getting that tachometer working?
I’m in the US. Not sure yet if I will keep it or sell it. I will get the tach working 👍
What is that system of break bleeding that you are doing?
It’s a vacuum and that sucks the fluid out. It works ok and can be done with one person. But two people doing it the old fashioned way works much better👍
Can u give me a link to that brush guard?
It came on the truck
Great!!. The rev counter doesnt work?. Or its not connected?. Great drive!!! Congrats!!
It doesn’t work. I think it’s the gauge that’s broken. I’m pretty sure it’s hooked up.
@@Jerod_Helt my speedo & odometer don't work but the tach & lights do.
I heard potentially our speedo might be mechanical & not electrical.
JNH Classics there is blue resistor by the dist that control the rev. Might be defective.
What size tires are you running? They look awesome!
30x9.50 R15 👍
How tall are you? It looks like there is not a lot of space in the cabin.
I’m 6’-2”
I need one of these engines, how can get one?
I found this one on Facebook marketplace
Que raro ejemplar de Nissan 720
I own a Nissan 1990 two door wagon hardbody can't really get carby steady like that sounds nothing like mine
I'm happy to see and hear this cause I can't tune for shit

That’s awesome!
I want that thing so bad.
What year is it?
1984👍
👍👍✌️
720 aesthetics is superior to the Toyota hilux...love em both but if I'm being honest the 720 looks better.
Are you selling this truck? 😊
I probably will sell it once it’s done. But I don’t know when that will be
@@Jerod_Helt $1500 I"ll take it.............
@@bigfootswatching9986 I think I have more than that in the wheels and tires👍
You did an awful lot of extra work for the sake of not having the correct oil pan.

@@dimorphodon4607 I also needed the correct oil pickup tube. Plus I like to keep things stock when possible.
