Don't look at her! If you look at her you give her all the power.
I KNOW YOU CAN SEE ME
Is my tennis jacket on fire?
the BLUE ONE?
what is this a reference to?
@@pesokpesok ruclips.net/video/naK3KWjbAzA/видео.html
Is it weird that this genuinely made me want to treat my parents better?
That is NOT a good think.
No, treating people nice is always better
@@Kostadin_Arolski Go and do drugs while you are being nice to people💉💉💊💊
@@giorgmil1773 yeah why not? Who the fuck are you to judge me by a made up nick name? Party Boy? You sound like the lonely, acne covered looser of the school. You never get invited anywhere, so you say "i dont drink or take drugs", well ofcourse you don't, you need friends and company for that.
I think that it’s a very fun name.
this is such a cute character
yeah
right? im glad she found someone with the same mindset haha...I know its a different guy in each bedelia sketch but this one was my favorite cause i love bill
Yess
Yeah that Alec Baldwin sure is a charmer.
It's one of the most hilarious characters.
I think the audience didn't appreciate this character. I loved it, people don't often see the humour in some life situations and this sketch brings it to light so well. Nassim was such a great member of SNL!
It's a tough one because it borderlines on very creepy stuff. The acting is great and all that it's just the topic. It doesn't matter if it's a daughter, father or mom and son. People tend to find overly affectionate family relationship very questionable(even though in most cases they're perfectly normal).
That days more on them imo
@@huldu tbh the problem is that people view a child with psychological problems resulting in insecure attachment, and mentally ill people as a whole, as "creepy" rather than as people who need help that have been denied it. Rather than recognize either the moral of the skit (that "creepy" people are normal to their friends just like "normal" people are normal to theirs, and that normal is entirely subjective) or the reality (that many children and adults were psychologically disturbed by their parents/childhood and there aren't sufficient treatment options for those individuals) many people instead choose to reject not only the message but even the character and perpetuate that exclusion and demonize them.15% of people are disabled, and nearly half to more than half are mentally ill. It would behoove people to recognize them
It's so funny. Nasim is awesome.
@@monicacreator3168 I don't get what you're saying. ? I don't think anything was wrong with how proud she is of her dad, I think that's what you were getting at. :)
”I’m wearing sandals with socks!”
”It’s poison ivy season, you’re being sensible”
😂😂😂😂 I love her
Oh I miss Nassim :(
I was confused. I was like "How long has Melissa been on SNL?"
Bedelia's mom is Tina and her dad is Alec. Awww this is the best sketch ever. I hope they're both in one sketch on the 40th anniv.
Oh my goodness Liz and Jack get together!!!
I totally agree
Liz and Jack finally ended up together!
Melody Ho who
YAS
@@cnsmooth 30 Rock reference (Tina Fey and Baldwin's characters on the show)
That audience sucked, this character was awesome!!
Lol... “ it’s poison ivy season”!... hahahahahAhaha
She's such a good actress.
That's what happens when you force an introvert in a sphere that's not their own :D
Agreed.
Ohhh.....oh
Yuuuup
hey at least she found someone whos the same way!
I had never seen this character. Great performance and timing.
Nassim nails it.
best daughter ever
Oh yes haha
call me crazy but i'd love a daughter like her lmao
Wade Tube quite frankly me too
Same
Sounds like you want to give birth to a friend?
Haha that's what I'm like to my mum so my kids will probably be the same if they take after me
Except it's disturbing lol. Your mom can't teach you how to navigate an awkward office Christmas party or how to tie Rope Bondage knots. If you know a weirdo who was home schooled I'll rest my case.
Why does it make me so happy to see Nasim and Bill be a cute, compatible little nerd couple at the end?
2:14 that sound like a legit argument of two boys. very realistic 10/10
I. LOVE, this woman. Wonderful sketch. Me? I'm 14. My dad? He's timeless. Lol she's such a cool, loyally legit lass.
The Bedelia sketches are all GOLD. I guess they're too subtle and dry for the SNL studio audience, because they don't generate big laughs. But I'm laughing.
It’s not one of those skits that elicits ha ha laughter. It’s a skit you observe and appreciate it for what it is. I love it!!
This is one of those characters that really unfortunately reminds me of myself, not in the sense that I was close to my parents but just so woefully clueless about how to interact with people my own age.
Self-awareness is half the battle, you can't be _too_ awkward. Personally, I've enjoyed social distancing:-)
Cheer up buttercup!
Be who you are and say what you feel because those that mind don’t matter and those that matter don’t mind (dr suess)
You must be an old soul
bill hader was only in this for like 15 seconds and yet he was still amazing
Is it bad that I relate to this character? Lol I was such an introvert and my mom was my best friend. I suppose she still is even now at the age of 25.
Aw she found a buddy, so cute
i think there is nothing bad about cherishing your parents :)
but this is funny :D
Cherishing yes but being codependent? No. Emotionally stunting yourself and clinging to your parents can be very dangerous.
So Liz Lemon and Jack Donaghy do end up together!
And have a socially awkward daughter.
"Apple, tree dad" hahahahahhahahahaha best skit
Her delivery is flawless. Are her other characters this good?
Yes they are.
She did a pretty funny, though not very accurate, version of Kim Kardashian. She was also great as the hype girl for the Crunk festivals with Sudeikus.
RIP Ass Dan.
Shallon's good, too.
She was great but kind of underappreciated.
Her delivery. Yes! I saw that too.
This was a beautiful era of SNL...Nasim, Jenny Slate and Abby in the same cast. Damn shame it was so brief. They were all gorgeous and talented.
I mean, Bedelia gets the D at the end of all of these sketches though 🤷🏾♀️
From her daddy?
huh?
Bedelia is my new favourite person.
Bedelia Lemon-Donaghy. Sweet.
To me these type of kids are adorable.
Best kid ever!
One of the greatest, most layered characters in SNL history. Nasim, you deserved better.
Hey tough guy * *raises hand at her dad* *
Sike, we cool
psych
All things considered, this girl would be a heckuva good mom someday, lol.
Very underrated character
She's like a childish 80 year old! Genius that she doesn't think she's a dork..& Iove her one track mind obsessed with Dads not -so-cool attributes!
Her full name is Bedelia Amelia Lemon-Donaghey
Jack would never be caught in that outfit. Socks with sandals? He'd fire himself.
@@Slappaccino well, being a dad changes person
I'm so old and a dad I found this skit to be perfect behavior for a teen girl
I hope that my children would be something like that
BEST KID EVER
They'll be socially awkward. Trust me, you don't want them like this as much as you don't want them ALWAYS hanging out at their friends and completely avoiding you. The two are extreme ends of the spectrum. You want the kids to be somewhere in the middle.
faeze mohajer why would you want that, you should want your kids to go out and live there lives and not be clinging to you 24/7 maybe it's just something you want when you've actually had children haha
Nahhhh I'm good my kid gotta be doing other things then clinging to me
This is adorable.
THIS IS THE 30ROCK AU I WANT. JACK AND LIZ END UP AND HAVE BEDILIA. tina and alec sml
I can only hope & pray that one day I’ll have a child that loves me this much 🤣 she’s so dang cute!
Even bedelia has a boyfriend but i don't :( :(
Guys don't like witches. Stop with the sorcery.
You're much too young for a bf. Now go do your homework and then off to bed, young lady! 🧐
Shared this with my daughter who's 14000 km away from us! 😀
It's a lovely charachter
Brilliant character! That’s something I wish I would have written.
"...Santana B-sides on vinyl..."
Sadly, this is a slightly exaggerated version of my sister.
After 3 years I hope she is over it
Sadly??? Wooow #LoserAlert ...and I mean you. #BulliesAreSoLastSeason
I love her character!!
Love Nasim
I kinda have this relationship with my mom
oh my god its like watching a video of me in middle school i hate it
HackPen I love it!
i really like her dress
Yaaaay!! She found a guy like her! XD ...that gives me hope
Omg this was adorable :3
“You know the book 1776? He’s read it.” nothing has ever been more accurate about dads
>apple
>tree
so Jack doneghi and Liz lemon are her parents?
bedelia is the best! :3
4:13 it's our #BillHader !!!
49 comments on a video with 100k?? What's going on
me w my mom LOL
“Its poison ivy season” 😂
Wholesome
Bedelia is such a relatable character where your only friend is your mom and dad
She is precious!
Summary of the comments: "I want my future kid to be developmentally stunted, socially inept & codependent for way longer than is considered healthy so that I have a constant source of validation."
blueribenaberry word. People are so weird.
Right?! These sketches creep me out
Want to give this comment a thousand likes.
🤣🤣🤣
Omg, snl made a skit about ME. Yep, only child.
so is it uncool to treat your parents well?
She is so cute. What a heartwarming scetch.
imagine having a relationship with your parents like this
1:01 1:15 1:37 2:18 2:34 That voice in the background -- WTF is that?!
Yeah that's a weird laugh and sounds creepy too
Why go to someone’s party if you don’t like them?
Free food probably
Make rude comments.
Homeschool kids, am I right? 😂
This is definitely a rip on kids with no siblings
Love her😂😂😂😂😂
I wish this were back on SNL
I think I’m the only person who doesn’t like this sketch at all
Angieee ... so you’re saying it’s good? You clearly assume everyone else likes it lol
Yeah you did
No doubt Bedelia is a wildcat once the lights are out, if you catch my drift (Wink, wink. Nudge, nudge)
Scored...!
...and Bill Hader as Napoleon Dynamite.
Been watching snl. Sketches for years always digging and just found this one. Bedelia is hilarious. Superbly written.
That's how my daughter is lol
I get Bedelia in this one. My dad is awesome too ;) xD
I think I got back into SNL steady the season after this one because I hadn't seen Bedalia until like 2 weeks ago.
The writing in her skits is off the charts great. So many subtle jokes 'yeah, classic JC Penny shorts Dad' lol fking JC Penny!!! 'Hey you wanna go listen to some Santana B Sides on Vinyl?' Lol. god dam.
Definitely top 100 character on SNL all time.
'Teenagers don't hang out with their parents' speak for yourself Alec 😭😭
my parents are the people’s from 30 rock soooooo...
I mean, she is quite sorted out and mature😐
Tippy and Bedilia are my favorite Nasim characters.
SCORE? I wonder what he thinks 3rd base is
this is hauntingly similar to me and my mom
This is Shallon
What keeps happening to her boyfriends
You can't expect a vision like her to be tethered to just one guy
Nasim Pedrad was born to do comedy.
Who else noticed bedilia is Gigi from scream queens or was that just me??
Nasim Pedrad, she was a snl castmember so yeah, you'll notice her more xD
Someone needs to tell Alec he exhibits the same mannerisms and characteristics as Trump haha!
this character is one of my most favorite SNL characters of all time. (felt fresh and different compared to some of the sex-obsessed skits) the responses/comments are interesting - some people enjoy her too, some are worried that she's too dependent on her parents, borderline lnce$ty, homeschooled, etc. Some women love her, some women / feminists seem to be really worried about her type existing irl and not being strong and independing woman. :p I think she's just a little autistic, and of course it's just a skit
Lol
