How to dry and preserve basil in the oven

Do you have an abundance of fresh basil that you don't know what to do with? Dry it in the oven to preserve it for a year.

I try to sort & place on a parchment lined cookie sheet by size.
That way the drying is more uniform.
I stack my cookie sheets; sitting them at an angle on top of one another.
I can get 6 sheets in the oven at a time.

Hi, do you know if you can do peach leaves like this?

I've never tried it but I think it would work fine. I know I wouldn't hesitate to do this with hibiscus leaves.

No, it's more of an annual. It will go to seed and pop up in other places sometimes.
