Funny how, from that angle, the scene of the Isle of Wight Steam Railway looks like a very detailed model railway.

Hello, I am a University of Brighton student and I am currently doing a documentary (for non-commercial use) on the sinking of the SS Mendi, which happened just off St Catherines Point. I was just watching your footage and I caught the section with the lighthouse and I was just wondering if there could be any possibility I could use some of this film in my piece? It is brilliant footage and would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.

Hi Lauren, Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you as I don't look on here very often and, yes you may use some of the footage to help with your film if you still need it.

Hi Azriel the clip with the white cliffs at 1:20 is Freshwater Bay and the bit after that is Chilton Chine which is very near Isle of Wight Pearl (Tourist attraction selling pearl jewellery, earrings, rings & necklaces etc) located on the South Coast of the Isle of Wight UK. I hope this helps, and sorry for delay in replying.
