FINALLY Back in London with My Japanese Husband After 3 Years (A Chaotic Day in My Life in the City)

- 1 Day, No Tube, All the Sights? How far can we travel around London without trains? Chaotic travel vlog
I’m finally back in my home city after 3.5 years away and today’s UK trip vlog is all about me showing my Japanese husband the real London I grew up in (as well as all the main London tourist attractions!), but how far will we get without taking a train? The challenge is on to see as much as we can in under 24 hours!
Locations we visited without using the tube:
• We start at Victoria Station and take a short walk to pay a visit the the Queen at Buckingham Palace with Jubilee preparations taking place
• Then on to see Big Ben for the first time (it was under construction when he visited London for the first time!), the Houses of Parliament & the London Eye before a quick walk to..
• Trafalgar Square as neither of us have ever seen it before (for one day only Innocent Smoothies turned the square into a flowery paradise in the middle of the city by “rewilding” it) all before hopping on some Santander bikes and navigating our way along busy London roads all the way to..
・ Camden Town for some of the coolest retro shops and best choices of street food in London and ending at..
• London’s most famous bridge: Tower Bridge!

Fun fact for the tourists - the clock is called the London tower clock. Big ben is the name of the bell which every one hears ringing out the time

A hectic but interesting vlog with so many iconic moments/places in one day. Those food portions were gargantuan.
Did the same in 2004 with my parents-in-law They never flew and saw London so i was taking them to all these spots but with the tube. Only your teenagerarea was off course totally new to me so nice. Love every second of this video again. Have a great weekend x Debby

I really liked Camden town/market when I went a few years ago glad you guys went.
It was one of my favourite places to hang out growing up! It definitely paints a different picture to London, but there’s still so much I want to show Bear eventually!

I always wanted to visit the Big Ben clock tower, when traveling to Great Britain for the first time in the future, as it is a signature monument in this country.
Also, the places where you spent your childhood is tremendous, Miss Kiwi.
We were lucky to see it this time! I’m glad you enjoyed seeing where I spent my weekends growing up!
I still think you both are so brave, I am amazed how much you fit into one day. Also bear looked so at home in London too and nice to see where you grew up :)
We were exhausted by the end 😂 I’m sure it would’ve been a lot easier and a lot less hectic if we’d just taken a train but you know we like to make things ridiculous 😅
