+Adam Elmallah Honestly, I think i've learned more from like 4 short RUclips vids on chemistry then i've learned in an entire month in an in person lecture class...

+Adam Elmallah OMG RIGHT?! I couldnt understand why she would jump from 4s back to 3d, she never gave us this visual.

Wow. I've been struggling with this since grade 10 in high school. I have general chemistry again in college and I still didn't completely understand how to do it.
This simplifies it all, amazing method O:
How come no professor/teacher ever taught it to us this way?

If you want to draw the diagram you have to make sure you relate it well to the configurations you're making. Otherwise it just confuses people who don't know. You didn't even explain the numbers on top of the letter. How can you explain the electron configurations without explaining why S has 2 and P has 6? I recommend Leah Fisch.

Thank you so much. It does help me. I live in Malaysia and the Chemistry I learn there is a little different, especially when it comes to electron configuration.
For an example, Calcium has 20 electrons, and the electron configuration we write is 2.8.8.2 instead of the format of s p d f.
I realised it when I graduated from high school in Malaysia and I study in college in the USA.
It is new for me, and takes me time to understand.
BTW your video helps me A LOT!!
    Thank you Mr Andrew!! :)
