I went to a prestigious research university and honestly really hated it. I think the most important thing when it comes to “matching” to the right university is also understanding what you are looking for and what you would like to do. Make sure you don’t choose a major just based on employability or the culture of the campus but based on your actual passion
Just curious, where did you go? YES finding the right match is huge. Schools are SO different.

@@LudicrousPlatypus I have a close friend who went there and visited several times. I find that the outer brand of Stanford is so different then the actual undergraduate culture.

I’m glad you pointed out that college isn’t for everybody. Good info. Just curious, but aside from doing ASMR what field of work are you in?
I do musical theatre and photography professionally.

@@BrutusASMR Just wondering I have a son with a learning disability, Dyslexia and Attention Deficiet Disorder, could there be a chance for those who have some learning ailment to learn mathematics and or not as a quick learner as those who advance well in college?
@@sylvialupehernandez9154 Hi. I have ADHD too. I'm a junior in high school and am looking to major in Electrical Engineering and Musical Theatre in college. I would consider myself advanced in math. It is entirely possible. For me, I just have to be patient with myself in learning new material. I think it's really just about what he's interested in and if he's willing to work hard for it. I don't know much about Dyslexia, so I can't speak much on that, but if he's willing to work hard, then he should be able to advance in mathematics.

listeners. How's the sound quality in regards to triggering your ASMR / compared to another Asmrtists?
Idk about the sound quality - but what was different from most Asmrtists was the fact that the camera was not zoomed in on your face. Usually, the viewer can only focus on the face but in this case I really enjoyed the background. Felt like I’m listening to a friend talk. I hope this was helpful :)
What I like about the sound is you do for both ears instead of bianural. I can’t hear out of one ear so yours are great for me. Usually I miss half the videos with the others. 😃

Great video! I’m a current senior struggling with choosing either USC, UCLA, or Notre Dame? Ucla is expensive but it’s my favorite, but I can settle for usc lol. But I’m still deciding on usc or notre Dame bc I think notre Dame is more prestigious but I wanna be in California. My major is biology at either. Please send any advice if you would like 🙈🫶🏽
It really depends on the activities you want to do and where you want to be. For me I would chose USC

I know its been a week but was wondering what UCs do you think are the best ones? You mentioned there were some bad ones
Really depends on your major and program! Berkeley and LA are great overall. SD is great for sciences! I would just recommend some California state schools like SDSU, Cal Poly Slo, etc over some of the lessen known UCs

Go to the school that has the best program for the thing that you’re interested in or the city that you want to live in

I applied and was waitlisted. I don't think I would go there personally. There isn't anything shiny about it.

im mostly just scared to leave my family because i have a big family and im really close to them

However if getting into college is gonna help you get here. My most successful friends in the acting world didn't go to or finish college.
Look into colleges that promotes diversity. Some schools that can be hard to get into offer a lot of financial aid esp liberal arts colleges like amherst.

Hello! Do you have an undergraduate degree?
I do not, I graduated highschool with a 2.7 gpa
I would suggest going to a two year community college. Get a 4.0 there. Transfer with a scholarship hopefully! And make sure you’re taking pre requisites for Med school throughout your schooling!
