Extreme heat in B.C., Alberta as western U.S. sees record temperatures

A heat wave has settled over parts of British Columbia and Alberta. In B.C., fire crews are on high alert amid concerns the heat could fan wildfires, with temperatures expected to reach the low 40s in some areas this weekend. Similar temperatures are expected in the western U.S.
