We added a few cut cross bar and tied them into the full length ones from underneath with some support members. I am unaware of a kit that contains all the parts
I assume you mean bigger panels. That's essentially what I had before. A single 350w panel. It's all that would fit so a bigger one wouldn't work because I won't be able to utilize the roof space I have efficiently. Also, smaller panels connected in parallel means it is less susceptible to partially shaded roof. These are just 2 of the biggest reasons why.

Why would you not upgrade to higher wattage solar so you could decrease how many panels you need up there.

Yes this one is for the 170 wheel base which is also referred to as a LWB.
