I used to take Adderall for school and stuff and it ruined my gaming. I was snapier, sure, but my hands would shake too much to be accurate. I guess with cod it doesnt really matter since the aim assist is so strong. Edit to mention: counter strike was my game at the time so I really needed good accuracy. I'd likely do better on apex or cod with it.
Has a different effect on certain people. The one time I took it I didnt feel like I was more “cracked” it was more so the game sense I had was coming to me at a faster pace than it normally would. Second guessing myself wasnt as big of an issue

I'd usually see an enemy first or know where they were gonna go/micro adjustments. It's just the accuracy was so hit or miss. For me. Plus when I was doing bad you get more angry with Adderall. Which ultimately fucked me up more when I'd play poorly. Counter strike is such a mental game sometimes and toxicity anger WILL make your team lose.

People weren't using adderall back then to play when he was winning those championships. Now a days every kid takes adderall for school and college and adults take it for their jobs. I know what I look like without adderall in most games and it is usually a subpar performance compared to when I take it. I can't even aim on my opponent in Valorant before I die if I dont take it.

nah man, he's an animal. and if he really not anymore, theres too many variables to blame it on the addy. Stimulants aren't increasing your skill ceiling by any means. They're for playing at your maximum ability for hours without losing steam. It takes the whole emotional/energy investment part of competing out of the equation. So it doesnt make you faster, it just stops you from slowing down.
I constantly am trying to tell ppl this who say good players are all on it. You can reach that same level of focus and awareness completely sober. But you have to train and practice. Think about pro bmx, skateboarding, winter and summer Olympics, racing etc… the list goes on and on. When you entrain in yourself that you need something, you will need it.
When i was younger Game battles was huge , i made money off playing GB with some of the best. We won the SnD overide ladder playoffs 4x in a row on BO1 . won around 12k off cod. Adderall, which i was prescribed but did abuse. Didn't really help the gameplay it just allowed me to put in 12 plus hours Stright on the game without getting tired or hungry.
I had to start taking adderall for my adhd when i moved out and got a job, bills, mortage ect, saved my life But i dont like it for gaming, hands get shaky, i very easily missclick, my arm reacts way faster than my brain when an enemy shows, i get some insane flicks/1taps, but its not consistent at all, i prefer gaming «sober»
Adderall is good for the old style 8 hours of straight playing at LAN events. Not for 1 hour of playing in winner bracket then bouncing around all day getting no rest cos your adderalled the fuck up
