Lunatic here 🙋♀️ ( kidding! ...ish 😂) Thankyou for sharing , wow what an insightful way to percieve others and interesting upbringing you had , i think it has set you up on your journey today. I myself have been a service user and some of the most amazing people are the ones you meet in therapy! There shouldnt be so much shame around mental health Let me tell you its society thats mad, in fact i considered wanting to become a therapist myself.I dont believe medicine as we know have it right and treat people holistacally. I have irish blood, my Grandmother was a rebellious woman from Dublin. Dogs are pure souls!
Thank you for this. I used to be so frightened of the idea of going mad, the rocking in a corner thing springs to mind. This fear was from when i was very depressed but also from portrayals in dramas and films. But when you face up to it, the fear goes away. And these days I wouldn't be afraid of meeting a so called 'lunatic' because they are simply suffering or have an alternative reality and we all have that going on in some measure!
@lynnehendersonfisher good reflection! I know a good few people who have been the other side of the psychiatric divide. They tend to be the most balanced people I know!
@The-Heart-Guy It sometimes happens on RUclips... In summary I said I learned I was a lunatic on yet another count because I had a child out of wedlock 🤣 and then my psychotic episodes have been times of extreme happiness (amongst other things).
