The highlight to me though are the lyrics! I've been checking out English covers of this song to see what people make of the lyrics and yours invoke very strong feelings within me. The longing and the regret are so palpable, the push and pull is visceral, I was really swept up by this narrative you wove and it swelled and peaked alongside the melody very effectively. I like what you did with the part at the end especially, framing the rest of the lyrics a little more directly, and ending the song on a bit of a bittersweet note. I have a feeling I'll be thinking about this version of the lyrics for a long time to come, because there is a lot to think about! Not to mention, the lyrics are catchy and match the melody very naturally, which is an impressive feat in and of itself, irrespective of how meaningful they are. I loved every bit of this cover, thank you so much for sharing it with us all!
