I'm a softball catcher and had arthroscopic shoulder repair for slap tear back in May 2022. No pain but do have occasional tightness which trainers work on but started throwing down and my ball can't get to second base. No pain and throwing hard but is not going far. Any suggestions on how to proceed to get better?
Very helpful, I had labrum repair surgery in March and am going into my freshman year as a quarterback in college and I still have too much pain to throw and it’s August, and I am hoping to get into phase 4 soon!
@@Shlogdog5 I was able to throw 7 weeks in the season after continuous therapy all season long last year, had a great spring and have been throwing confidently with slight pain only when throwing deep balls, but if playing football is something I want to continue to do then gotta live through the pain! Therapy is the most important part!
Hey i am in the same spot right now I was like around mid 80s before surgery and now 8 months post op like 65-70 I am not like trying to throw the ball hard my shoulder just feels tight. I am light having a catch but I can’t try to throw it hard. When I release my shoulder wants to hit the brakes . I don’t think I am doing bad in the process just wandering where u are right now
Hey I had surgery August 11th on my labrum my surgeon was Dr. Kremcheck and it’s now January 24 and I’m still not on a return to throw program but I am where I am supposed to be according to the therapist. I know he knows much more than I do about this and he was the best guy I could get to do it but is this normal ?
@@GriegSchidenberg i just got one, my doctor said i will lose 8-10 mph if i get the surgery and i’m supposed to pitch in college next year, is that true or no?
