  • This is a quick look at the silicone inserts we use in our Ninja Air Fryer. We have the Ninja Foodi Max 9.5l Dual Model and these save us so much time cleaning the trays.

Tell me, doesn’t the food just lay in the grease that forms at the bottom of the liner, also do you have to adjust the cooking times?

We clean ours after every use. But yeah we don’t add a liner or anything. No adjustment on time but you can’t cook as much as it reduces the size of the container. But it’s so much easier to clean than the draws.
      Hope that helps.

@@CarlsReviewLab doesn’t grease build in the bottom of the silicone while your cooking food? And I understand you clean after every use.

@@iokona Depends on the food. Obviously if its foods like sausages then yes it will build up. But the inserts are easier to clean than the metal draws

It appears to me that using the inserts is reducing the overall capacity of the cooking zone.

Yes it does slightly. But this is a 9.5l Ninja so there’s plenty of room for us as we only cook for 3 people. Why not use them for small meals and save lots of cleaning then when you need more food remove them and accept the extra cleaning. Best of both worlds

How are those not poisoning the food while also getting cooked #microplastics

You actually can put the trays directly into the dishwasher.

Stops air circulation. Food doesn't cook evenly. My airfryer bins have been in dishwasher every day for over a year, there's not a mark on them.

We just shake the contents every now and then and they are fine.
Some people love them and some won’t use them. So each to their own. They do reduce the content volume though I agree on that. 9L probably down to 6L
