    I have bought some air fryer silicone liners to test.
    Do they melt,
    Do they change the taste,
    Do they affect the cooking times,
    Are they worth getting.
    these are some of the questions I need to find an answer to.

      I've never even heard of a multi cooker. It looks interesting. I'll have to look into getting one in the future and giving them a try. Thanks for the info bud 😊

    What did you taste first Andy... The Chicken or the Egg?... 🐔🥚 🤣 On a serious note my friend... Please try and avoid putting kitchen foil loose on top of anything in the Air Fryer pal... The reason for this... Is that when the fan circulates the hot air... It can lift the foil upwards... And if it should touch the heating element of your Air Fryer... It could destroy the Air Fryer or blow your electrics... If you do have to... Use Wooden Cocktail Sticks to skewer the foil to the Chicken... Then gently break the Cocktail Sticks but don't separate them into two pieces... Just have them at a slight angle similar to the tent pegs... This should prevent the foil from lifting up and touching the heating element... 👌If you need a similar item to your silicon liner... I can highly recommend this item sold on Amazon... As i have one of these myself... Search for this item Andy and have a look for yourself.
    "BEAUTYBIGBANG Air Fryer Accessories Cake Barrel Pizza Pan Round Cake Tin 6/7/8 inch General Air Fryer Accessories Baking Cake Tin with Handles Non-Stick Baking Pan (7 INCHES)"
    The 7" version is just £6.75...The 8" version is just £6.99... But if you just carry on with your silicon liner to make something like Bolognese Sauce... Just remember that it's easier to ladle out the Bolognese Sauce first... Before attempting to remove the silicon liner while it's full of extremely hot Bolognese Sauce... The only reason i bought one myself... Was that i sometimes had trouble removing pans from the Air Fryer... And ended up burning myself trying to lift it out... The handle on this item does get hot... But silicon mitts will allow you to remove items by lifting the handle without burning yourself... Many thanks for the video Andy... All the best my friend... Cheers mate. 🍺

      Hi Rick. Good point about the tin foil, I don't want to short circuit it.
      I had a quick look at the pan you mentioned but it's my wife's 50th bday today so rather busy, I have a better look tomorrow.
      My wife said about a ladle to me and as I told her, whatever I do people ask what about ..... So I did know to use one I just wanted to cover every base . As you know because you helped out people are asking how heavy is the meat. But the silly question generally come via my Facebook page. I need to cover things that are blatantly obvious or for people who know even less about cooking than me !!😂.
      As always bud that's so much for your help and continued support.
      🥃🍺👍😊

    But just wondering out air fryer work on heat mechanism by blowing of air if silicon tray is there it may tamper if i am right the food would take longer ,pls correct me i have doubt

    • @AWWF
      @AWWF  4 месяца назад +1

      You're spot on. It stops the air flow. It works great for some things but I think a metal one would work better because it can help transfer heat.
      Obviously no liner is best but you can't do that with everything.

    Y. Enjoyed the sound track. I just ordered a liner today from Amazon. If I had seen your video, maybe I would not have done that. I will have to make my own tests. You are like a poorman's Gordan Ramsey. Love your style. 👍😎

      Hi. The more I have used the liners the more I'm glad I have them. They do come in quite useful. 😊
      Difference between me and Gordon apart from the money is I eat what I make and never does 🤣 .

    Chickens well done temp is 165*, not 180*. You were almost done. Could be variations in size of chicken or the liner

    • @AWWF
      @AWWF  3 месяца назад

      Chicken thighs and all chicken dark meat tend to taste better when cooked to a higher temperature(175 F to 180 F) due to their higher amounts of connective tissue. Cooking thigh meat to 165 F will yield chewy, rubbery meat, but at 175 F to 180 F, it will be tender and juicy as the collagen melts and turns to gelatin. This is also the case cooking a whole chicken to get the darker parts of the meat tender.

    Is it repairable if torn?

    • @AWWF
      @AWWF  4 месяца назад

      Unfortunately I can't imagine it could be however someone might know a way to repair them.
      When it comes to food safety I'd say it's best just to replace rather than run any risks for the sake of a couple of pounds.

      I'd also say they do feel very durable, I think it would take a lot to damage them if used normally. I guess if you tried cutting with a sharp knife it would easily damage them.

    They work great for what they are designed to do with common sense. Of course you couldn't pull it out filled with water, who would do something like that lol? Chichen wings, legs etc, vegetables, not a whole chicken that you have to stuff into it. I really like them.

      I will make into a short unfortunately still only get about 100 views. Only the big channels get lots of views. They have the money to pay to "advertise" their vids. Small channels rely on viewers sharing 😢

    These are crap I’m afraid. The food sticks to them and also the idea is for the heat to circulate, so how can it. I’ve tried them and binned them.

      Hi bud. That's odd, I've never had anything stick to mine 🤔.
      I get your point about the air circulation but like a fan assisted oven when you Putin a pot there's only so much circulation.
