Everybody's a critic. I bet those who critisize Johnny's singing ability couldn't sing a lick and probably couldn't tell an "A flat from a B flat note."
This is just a guess, but I believe Sofa Entertainment owns Ed Sullivan’s entire library, and they are extremely stingy with the footage from those shows despite the fact that the show ended 48 years ago & Sullivan died 45 years ago. But they’ve tried for years to sell the DVD sets, so I guess that’s the reason why. Too bad that they haven’t made some kind of deal with RUclips for an Ed Sullivan channel of some kind, but I suppose these minute long clips are better than nothing at all.
