In today's video, we bring you the building process of a fully sustainable off grid Maasai Eco-lodge, that's inspired by all the tribes in Kenya.

Thanks my sister for showing us what life is like off grid in the Maasai African village. I greatly admire how The Maasai Homestead venture is providing livelihood for both locals and persons who live in other communities. I am very much interested in organic farming though. Is it generally practice in Africa? Another thing that just came to mind is whether you are affected by unscrupulous persons who would rather steal what you have farmed instead of trying for themselves?

Hi Mario, thanks for your remarks. Organic farming is an original and indigenous way of farming in Africa. Many subsistence farmers and families are still practicing it

Wow! I have now watched all your BomaNoma videos! The interviews made me smile! What hard workers, amazing to see what they can accomplish with their hands in just a few weeks time! And the makuti guy in the final few minutes had me laughing! He was so eager to show his climbing skills for the camera! 💕

I find this to be a brilliant idea, people in rural Kenya(or rural Africa in general) do not have enough money to pay electricity bill everymonth.
I installed solar panels for my family about 15 years ago, one of the best investment I ever did for my family because just like any rural Kenya, my family did not have electricity and even if they did, they could not afford monthly payments so I decided to invest and it`s paid off again and again.

That's so cool that you went the solar energy way. We have sun in plenty and we are supposed to be the ones leading the solar innovation

@@anonymoustube1 Hehe these dreadlocked chiseled boys from the coast will finish us all 😂😂😋😋. I totally agree with you, it is time we leaned into indigenous sustainable ways of living and blend in with modern sustainable ways. The momentum is moving us back home especially now that we know better after living outside the tropics.
