  • Edit: Because a lot of new to the channel people have asked, I'm 183 tall and weigh 105kg
For the last few months I have been riding a variety of different boards in all available types of conditions to put together my first kiteboard comparison video... to be honest, it was a really tricky exercise, but I got to get out on the water with some really great boards, and learn a bit more, both about my riding and preferences, and what else is out there on the market.
A huge thanks to ‪@MACkiteboarding‬ for providing some of these demos, and each brand who's awesome gear I got to ride.
Like with kites, all the gear is so amazing these days there is something for everything, but personal preference, skill level, and riding style play the largest factor in what gear is right for you, so if you are lucky enough to be near Mac or another retailer where you can demo some gear, I certainly recommend it, but be warned, some boards take some getting used to...
Looking at the Mac site, there are some banging deals on some of them as well right now:

Great video Jason! I have tried 3 out of those boards and have to agree with all your points you've mentioned. Specifically I noticed the lock in feel from the torque and could see how you'd really be able to send it in those nuking days. But the Atmos has still been my favourite because of it's overall blend of everything I feel - lightweight, fast, control, doesnt break your knees in chop.
Looking forward to the next one!

Thanks for the big work. Can’t wait to hear what you have to say about the Lieuwe Falcon ; I absolutely love this board that I got recently, and it’s actually a newer version whiteout rail to adjust the stance (but you still can have a lot adjustments) and new reinforced rail and extra layer of carbon. Of course it is always a matter of own taste and I did not try as many boards as you did but for me this board is a game changer I have never feel so confident.

Yes the color of the kislux is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc…

Thanks dude! I like your reviews.
I ride the north Atmos carbon 2021 and I love it. I'm a big air fan and my level is similar to yours. Could you suggest me if I should look into updating my board for much better progression or should not spend all my money and keep riding the board I like. However, I find the handle too small for my hand. I was thinking of changing the handle.
Thanks dude. And keep filming your thoughts are important for us. 🤙🤙🤙

@@viktorshvets9914 I would consider getting a newer board because after a couple seasons they will loose some of their stiffness/pop… as I mentioned the newer ones also have swappable bindings for fresh edge every few months (from 2023 they did this). If you have the chance, demo some of the ones I mentioned, like the lieuwe, otherwise you’ll surely enjoy a newer atmos carbon/pro

    great job as always, Jason.
One thing it lacks is the straps position on each board. Did you go standard/recommended on each of them or you have a different preferred stance?
Those Core straps are the worst on the market. even on narrow feet like mine you get to push with the pinky on the plastic part and it ruins your sessions. Got my pinkys super swollen before i finally changed them to a different brand

One thing I like about the North atmos, is that while it has 40mm fins, they are substantially longer, and I think offer more lateral grip without the annoyances of the 50mm fins. However, they are made of cheaper plastic and crack easily.

Jason if you find the Atmos slow in 138 why not ride it in 141cm. I am on the heavy side (90kg). Where I ride we seldomly get 9m days. It has been a long road learning to loop. I used to have a 140 Old North Team Series. Now I have a 139 Fusion 5, but your video left me wondering about the Carbon Atmos. Originally I was worried about the footpads being too tough. I do like the Core footpads the best so far, but on the shape of the fusion sometimes I miss the old team series (which became the outline of the newer Jaimes). If you were me, would you go for 141 or 138. I am landing safely single loops and can do boardoffs sans loop.
