I am a 65 year old, retired American cancer survivor and I never miss an episode! Regarding the brake lines, why not have new ones made (or use the existing lines) and have them powder coated. I am restoring my 2001 C200 Kompressor and I have been sand blasting and powder coating all of my metal parts for years (and always like you reinstall with new bolts, washers and nuts), as long as the heat doesn't exceed 225 F / 110 C degrees. I love your channel and especially the 512 BBI! Keep up the great work! My favorite youtube channel!!!

I did a bit of resto on a mini and I found that taking pictures beforehand and then separating the bolts and bits into their respective bins made a huge difference when putting it back together. I had about 200 plastics bags but they were all labeled, made it really easy and fast.

And if that wasn't enough, it's all delivered to us, the eager viewers, in the most engaging, interesting and entertaining way possible! RUclips has completely changed my entire reality of a Ferrari. When I was a kid on the 90s with the F40 on my wall, I had Ferrari on this unattainable pedestal.. like it was this perfect machine that could only be touched with white gloves.
Guys like this man have shown me that the difference is minimal between working on my Acura Integra or Civic in the driveway and a Ferrari. It's just a machine with its own unique quirks.. its not some mythical God like creature and that is pretty cool 😎

Did a full nut/bolt restoration on a 72 triumph t150v a few years back, I sent every piece and bracket to Cadmium plating in one bucket and it was a nightmare sorting through to find the correct pieces for everything after, I can’t imagine how much more you have for an entire car. One bit of advice I got after I was doing it was to lay the nuts and bolts on a xerox and then label it on the paper after the copy is made. I didn’t have a xerox in my garage so I couldn’t do it but it could be helpful to you in the future for a time saver.

When you go to install the lower valance, set it in the sun for an hour and leave the car in he shade in the garage. The lower valance will expand slightly and the front car will “shrink” in the shade and that lower valence will slide right into place. Did this with my 308 and it was easy as could be.

I love to see how your 512BBi gets back the glory it must have had when it left the factory. Back in the seventies when I was a teenager I had 2 posters in my room, one with a 288GTO and one with a 512BBi. 50 Years later to me these models are still the most beautiful designs form Pininfarina. On Eric Clapton's album "Slowhand" - the gatefold version - there is a picture inside of a wrecked Ferrari. He must have used a little too much cocaine that day. At first I thought he crashed a 512BBi but since his car had 6 taillights it must have been a 365 GT4 BB. I didn't know the 512BBi had a older brother. I hope to see you and your white beauty soon when you go for a road trip trough Belgium, maybe doing some laps on the Zolder circuit. Thank you for keeping us up to date with you videos !
