VoiceMeeter is exactly what I've been looking for. The only way it could be better is if I could specify three outputs, but this is still infinitely better than what I have been doing. Thanks, man.
Sorry didnt see before now. Voicemeter banana is an advanced version of voicemeter ( still free) where you can have 3 or more outputs. Many more features in VM banana overall
Thank you! This solved my issue of HDMI and outputting to speakers at the same time. I went with the Voicemeeter solution as the other was causing a terrible echo. I am shocked that this video isn't in the millions of hits range. It was really the ONLY youtube, or forum that had the best solution. I appreciate how the pacing of the video made following along with you very simple. Thanks again! I have liked and subbed.
Ok, in my case there was some delay between the TV via HDMI cable and the external audio amp via 3.5mm jack output of the PC, In VolumeMeter -> Double click on the big letters A or B on the output, it pops up a screen with more settings ! Under the "Monitoring Synchro Delay" you can adjust the delay times. I had to delay my speakers with 25ms (actually 50ms i think is better) to match the HDMI output signal to the TV.
I bought an Asus PG42UQ OLED monitor which has pretty decent built in speakers. I could not figure out how to get the sound channel on both the monitor and audio output to my speaker setup. It would be such a shame to let one of the best features of the monitor not even get used because I am outputting to some Klipsch speakers. My speakers are very crisp and clear but are now absolutely benefitting from the extra bass coming from the monitor! They sound way better together. You're a life saver! I couldn't even get the built in windows work around running at all.
I've been trying to get this shit to work for an hour before I came across this video. I had little hope that a six year old video would still be relevant, but it certainly had the info I needed. Many thanks!
I appreciate you because I thought it wasn’t possible after trying a few different thangs for a week. After seeing your video I remembered to do the last step which was change the audio on the pc 🤦🏽♂️
WOW... After all that searching,..... this finally worked on my MSI WIN-10 Creators Addition Laptop.... I got a Blue-Tiger Truckers head phone and a Bose Over Ear Head Phone to work simultaneously without lag or buffering problems... BRILLIANT!!!! for Bluetooth headphones like the ones I'm using... make sure you choose your head phones under the "MME" setting. THANKS GUYS!
This still works great. The link is broken, but a quick google search later and a few minutes of configuration and my windows 11 machine can output to two audio devices. Thanks.
Thank you so much for posting this! I don't know why, but the analogue audio output on my tv has a delay from the speakers built into the tv. Thanks to Voicemeeter I'm finally able to have my old analogue gear and the speakers in my hdmi tv in perfect sync. I should also add that if I set A1 to analogue out and A2 to hdmi out I had a delay. However, when I set A1 as hdmi and A2 as analogue, there's no delay. There's something else you didn't mention. I needed a way to be able to easily adjust the volume of both outputs at the same time. The volume slider built into windows doesn't adjust the voicemeeter output gain. I had to make macros that let me map keys to the volume slider that controls the gain.
Was recommended Voicemeeter Banana by a mate and been using it for ages. Banana is the version to go with; it includes a nice old fashioned tape player audio thing to test that it works, very handy 😎
Thank you for this video. Gonna use this to do a beat saber party so that it's not just the player hearing the song and everyone else watching a spastic vr mime.
This worked for me, thank you so much! was looking for a software like this since few weeks but usually would end up visiting threads that concluded that windows doesn't support multiple device output
Noticing that you were using the VAIO as the default... made me rethink what I was doing and fixed my issue since installing the latest AMD driver for DOOM Eternal!
Thank you very much for this video! Very well explained, and it finally put an end on a search for this exact solution that lasted a good few months. All the best.
Thanks a ton for this video. I'm using a wireless headset and would like to turn on my speakers w/o the hassle of changing anything in Windows settings. This is great.
Thanks! I have Realtek interface but I don't connect using the audio jack. (I have 1 HDMI, 1 Display Port, and 1 USB adaptor for HyperX 2.) Voicemeeter solves the problem nicely.
Great tutorial! I'm currently using this so that I don't have to constantly switch between my headphones and the HTC Vive headphones, plus there's no delay. Thank you!
Thank you so much - i have been trying to do this for almost a year - i have tried everything because i did not have the realtek audio stereo mix option - the 3rd party software option was perfect
Voicemeeter also has a more feature rich version that they ask for donations to gain access to, Voicemeeter Banana. It has a bit more detail in User Interface and options for adjusting and inputting more audio channels. Great video, thank!
I'm going to mess around with everything you just showed. I'm not entirely sure if I'll be able to use your information for my situation, but this is an amazing and very informational video thank you very much! Btw Voicemeeter is freaking awesome, I wish I had known of it's existence before...
Thanks mate, voice meeter way better than realtek solution. I have two usb headphones that I want to use in same tame when I have a guest. Works perfect.
Thank you so much for this. Although I noticed that wireless devices should be placed in A1 output to eliminate obvious delay and wired ones on A2. Still has a bit of delay for me (since my bluetooth device is not that high quality)
Awesome, thanks & vielen Dank! Helped me to connect two JBL Charge 5 via Bluetooth in Win11, and use them simultaneously. Unfortunately, I still do not know how to pair them as real stereo speakers, meaning: One speaker only plays left-side audio, one speaker plays only right-side audio. I guess this is somehow possible in Voicemeeter.
In my case, my laptop speaker device is called Realtek High Definition Audio and i want to output to my old Technics speakers which are connected to my laptop via 3.5mm audio cable. When it is connected it outputs to the Technics speakers and not to my laptop and it still shows the same output device (Realtek High Definition Audio) so the problem is i can not choose two output devices because two speakers are the sam output device on my computer. Any help ?
VoiceMeeter is exactly what I've been looking for. The only way it could be better is if I could specify three outputs, but this is still infinitely better than what I have been doing. Thanks, man.
Voicemeter banana can do this if u still need it. :)
Patrik Christiansen I’m in a similar situation to him, mind elaborating?

THANK YOU SO MUCH I'VE SPENT ALMOST 2 WEEKS TRYING TO GET DUAL AUDIO!
Thank you! This solved my issue of HDMI and outputting to speakers at the same time. I went with the Voicemeeter solution as the other was causing a terrible echo.

Finally a solution. I logged only to click "like" on this video. I have been searching for hours. The Voice meeter was the solution. Thank you!
dude i was working on this for 2 days! Voicemeeter was my solution. this was wicked helpful. I hope you are doing well

YOU ARE THE REAL HERO!!!!
i do that and nothing happens do u know why?
Selbst nach so langer Zeit hat das Video mir noch geholfen. Ich hatte zwar einen VoiceMeeter Aux Input, aber hat genauso funktioniert.

THIS SAVED ME!!! I was so pissed at windows stereo mix for not working properly that I am just so happy right now! :)
Danke schon!!! :P
Thanks for the great video. VoiceMeeter seems to be the only way to run the speakers of both of my HDMI monitors at the same time.

Im using voicemeeter now. It seems to work good to output to both my projector and PC
Thank You.
