About us:
“Birth”
Music Bliss came about in June of 2009, residing in a humble shop lot catering to music lessons and sales of instruments. As humble as it was, Music Bliss quickly grew to expand its range of products at a point in time where boutique products such as guitar effects pedals were on the rise.

FYI; you definetly don't need an amp for the 80 Ohms version. I've had those for more than 10 years and used them in phones, laptops, Roland drums, recording interfaces, guitar pedalboards, planes, etc... I usually turn on the volume at 60% and that's good enough for me.
really works fine without amp?? because i can't handle the budget of an amp
Thanks!
Thanks for the info!
I'm thinking about buying this for the Roland td 17- do you think I'll get sufficient volume with the 80 ohms version?
Thank you, brother. So, if I purchase the 80 Ohms version and plug it in directly to the Akai MPC One, I should be fine and not need to purchase an amp or audio interface? Thank you kindly. Blessings!
This saved me a lot of time in terms of trying to figure out what headphone impedance is good for what. Thank you for this video!
Thanks man this was a really well produced video, appreciate your concise review
THANK YOU! I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS INFORMATION FOR MORE THAN 6 HOURS!!!!
Well done fam right on time I'm looking for new headphones appreciate the review
Please note, that the materials used for the pads makes a lot of difference with the sound. And: Leather and velour can be interchanged. Also the driver design, materials, open or closed back builds as well as other factors can make a huge impact on the quality you get. High impedance headphones don’t automatically sound better.
Excellent, very informative video. I've had my Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO 2x600 Ohms since 1999.
Straight to the point. Thank you very much!
The video aesthetic is amazing. I dont know if the slightly grainy video and lower quality voice recording was intentional but along with the music it feels like it came out of the 80s
You explained this so clearly!! Thank you very much :) getting the 80 ohms
This helped me so much! Thanks a bunch!
so good thank you in 5 minutes you explained 3 different ones . this is helpful for me who doesn't know about them.
good overview and comparison. I'm getting the 80ohm version for producing. thanks
Great to the point review on these models....thanks...
Great and clear explanation. Very useful to everyone. God bless. I am using DT. 80 oms, Focusrits sound card with headphone amp for programming and mixing. Without headphones amp it's not fullfil my listening.
This was REALLY helpful!
Thank you for the information and explanation
thank you for making it simple, now I know what to get!
Nice review got these for my bass guitar, love to Malaysia from Sweden!
Good information, that's for posting it.
thank you for the review!
My guy! Nice upload
Nice explanation. I just bought the 250 ohm version.
very well presented! thank you
Very helpful thanks dude!
Great video, thank you!
Best closed headphones I have had so far. Getting new piece after about 11 years of daily use with no issues at all (PC gaming and music mixing). Super comfy and soud just fine for home use. N1 go to for me.
Would you recommend it for fps gaming? I saw someone recommended this.
@@fidot1000 I am afraid I can´t compare to others. I play fps with them and have no issues - the sound is good. My friend has got directional sound headphones and he definitely "hears" location of the enemy better.
@@Wratisak I see. What headphone is that?
Is it comfortable for long use? Let's say 8 hours++
@@Rey_R_ Did 38 hours no problem :D
Thanks for the video. What I find disappointing about these types of videos is there is a lot of talk centered around the power requirements vs impedance. But I have not really found a video that goes into the benefits/issues with choosing each of the impedances. Impedance is simply the resistance of an AC electrical signal. Resistance, on the other hand, is used to describe resistance to DC voltages. Kind of the same, but not totally. When circuits are designed, they are designed to support a specific impedance. It is important to match the impedances of your output device and your receiving device i.e. speakers or headphones, in this case. A mismatch of impedances will result in reflected waves and will cause distortion and less power getting to the speaker or headphone. So why don't they design all equipment to match lower impedance speakers/headphones making it easier to drive them. Well just like everything there are engineering tradeoffs. Low impedance circuits are cheaper to make but and are nosier than high impedance circuits which cost more and produce lower noise levels. Lower end consumer equipment is not designed as robustly as professional equipment (read overall quality) and thusly support lower impedance headphones. Very high end audio equipment is designed with low noise more expensive components (read overall higher quality) and at higher impedance levels for the lower noise. So bottom line is can most of tell the difference? Well maybe? It depends on degree. Modern consumer equipment is still very good. It comes down to matching the earphones to the equipment you have. So yes, indirectly that is about power as the ability to drive a device, in this case headphones, is directly related to matching the impedances of the output circuits to the speakers/headphones. Needed power is related to the matching of ouput to device impedances. If they match, you will get maximum power transfer. If they don't match you will not. Therefore it may seem as if you just need more power to drive a mismatched pair. While it is true that more power may overcome a mismatch in impedance to produce more volume, it comes at the cost of clarity, noise, and distortion. Bottom line, choose the headphones or speakers that match the devices you are using to drive them. RTFM (Read the ummmm fine manual) and find out what impedance your device is designed to use. When they match you win, when they don't there will be a price to pay in terms of signal quality. So even if you add a headphone amp, you still need to pay attention to the specs of the amp and what impedance headphones the manufacture recommends. This may mean purchasing more than one pair of headphones for a specific use. It's not practical to assume we can successfully use the same headphones for our phones, gaming, audio production, and music. No one size fits all.
Thanks for that información. Can You help me with my beyerdinamic DT 990 PRO 250 OHM.
I use that for play counter strike go (counter strike 2). and listen music.
And i gonna Buy dyac Fiio K5 PRO.
Sorry for My English, it is not very well.
I Will waiting your answer. 😊
This is by far the best explanation of impedance, but you forgot to mention the Motu M2/M4 for the 250 Ohm
Very good vid, thanks!!!👍👍👍👍
This video was helpful thank you
Thanks man, bought the 80 the other day guessing it was right, and it is! Thank you!
do you use them on your phone aswell?
Kinda wanna get the 80s because i dont want to buy an big headphone amp, still want more ohms than 32 tho
@@aliight7516 I’m using 250 ohms in my phone and it works no problem at all no need of any amp

Thanks for the help!
Wow! This was a great review/overview I’d like to ask one question though, I’m planning to buy the 250 ohms version, will the Steinberg UR24C be enough to power it? Thanks.
yes
what about the behringer UM2?
@@leeroyglasscock look at the out put rating
very helpful, thanks!
Thanks, i was looking for this
Keep looking because its not accurate. You don’t need a dac for the 80Ohms, thats why they made 3 models. i have 80 and 250 and I don’t need a dac for the 80 Ohms, I use it with my laptop
@@delargechannel I guess yeah. a question. DO THE BEYERDYNAMIC DT 770 PRO sound as they are pronounced?
@@newmanh We see these headphones everywhere but to my opinion after trying a lot of different models, I wouldn't buy the Beyer Dynamic again. My sound is too much different when I switch to my speakers and I have good ones. I feel that the 250 Ohms has too much bass but you can find the frequencies spectrum online
Great video! Cheers!
nice explanation, thanks
Amazing video♥️
Thank you for your direction. Would get the 80 ohms which meets my needs.
Hey thanks for the informative video! I have the 21 ohm version that I’ve used for several years. I just bought a UA Apollo interface and need a replacement for my damaged AKG headphones. I’d probably get the 250 ohm version, if I wasn’t born with moderate hearing loss. So for me, the 80 ohm model it’ll be. Thanks again!
Very helpfull video , thank you! i would like to ask if which of the Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO - 32 Ohms, 80 Ohms, 250 Ohms would you choose for an audiophile with an amplifier Pioneer A-30-K. Iam not sure which one should i choose for the best possible sound. Thank you
80ohm would be the best choice for you
This might be the most helpful comment section I have ever seen
Thanks for the video! Is Apollo Solo strong enough to use 250 Ohms?
Para jugar competitivo y escuchar música además de conectarlo en móvil para también escuchar música, cuál versión me recomiendas? la 32 o 80? Y si me compro la 80, tendré problemas en el audio?
Why is 250 Ohm better for critical listening? What can higher impedance do or quality provide that lower impedance cant? Like what is the quality difference do you hear in the 250 vs 80 ohm?? All three headphones are the same price currently on Amazon in the US right now. But higher ohm doesn't necessarily mean better...?
what i have heard is this. often high end audio gear have parts that take lot of Voltage and in those situation the headphone with low impedence like 32 ohm often hear distortion or might even get permenantly damaged. high impedence can handle more V which comes with some high end studio equipments. so if you do end up using 250 ohm, you require something good to drive it so it ends up sounding better also without distortion.
Higher impedance headphones require more voltage. This is a good thing when you're mixing because the sound will have more "headroom" as they call it. It basically means that the signal won't compress easily and introduce fuzz / distortion when it's not supposed to. This "flatter" response means that the sound you're hearing is more neutral, which is great for mixing, because you want to mix from a neutral standpoint, not a standpoint from which the sound is already "colored" (too much/little bass/highs/mids).
@@Nghilifa which beyerdymanic should I get for casual music listening and gaming
how about using the 32 ohm version with home studio/beats producing with an interface. wich disadvantages do i get instead of using the 80 ohms?
My perfect option would be the 32 Ohms but with the grey confortable cushions...
is it possible to replace cushions with those velour ones ?
I am considering buying them + the velour pads ;)
@@dogukanermis3262 Yes you can, but it's said that it's a task to do so. I am considering getting these + the velour pads tho
250 ohms version, the way to go
80 ohms may be the best compromise.
Currently using a fiio m11 stacked to xduoo xd-05plus dt990 250ohms and dt770 pro 250ohms both sound excellent
So if I get a sound blaster g6 (for my laptop). I
go for the 80 ohms??
Nobody, I mean NOBODY ever provided the viewers with coherent explanation with graphs how much better audio experience is when using 250 ohm rather than 32 ohm headphones. They're supposed to handle high and low frequencies but that's all that you'll ever learn by watching videos of RUclipsrs who attempt at comparing these.
I use a goXLR for my dt770 pros 250 ohm, and it sounds fine. Is that good enough or should i use an amp?
I've got an M-Audio FireWire 1814. Would the 80 ohms be best? Or can it drive the 250 ohms pair?
Great review! I have a question. Will the Motu M4 Audio interface work on the Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro and the 990 Pro (250 Ohms) Mainly for music producing, mixing and mastering?
No, you would need a headphone amp that can handle 250ohm to get them loud enough
Theoretically yes, but the 32 ohm version will be much more suitable for use with the relatively weak inbuilt amp of the motu m4. If using for editing after recording then go for the 80 or 250 ohm model. If using for low latency monitoring then go ahead and use the m4 inbuilt amp.
Would the 80 Ohms version be ok with a Focusrite scarlett 2i2 gen 3?
Will the 250 ohm version work with FiiO E10K usb amp and dac. Thank you very much in advance 😊
it would work, but can't drive the headphones to their full potential. 80 ohm would be best for a low power amp
Hi! Thank you for this video. Can I use the 250 Ohm version with a microbook interface?
Is there a big difference in sound between 32 and 80 ohms? Are the highs in the 32 ohm harsh and sibilant?
i have both and the 32ohm is def brighter and could be seen as harsh at higher volumes
@@bassyboii is the difference big? 1-10 in brightness, what would it be for the 32Ohm / 80 Ohm?
1-10 in bass for each one?
Which one do you prefer?
Which one is more precise?
The sound-quality / detail - depth, is it better on the 80ohm? You use an Amp / Dac or non of them?
Can audio mixers be used in order to power the 250 version? Or do I need an amp?
some good info - but you didn't really talk about your experience between the different ohm versions. I can read the documentation on the headphones, but I was really looking for - is there a real world difference between the sound of each.
Nice videos right here! Can Behringer power a 250 ohm headphones?
I have a Roland studio capture interface it has a output of 47 ohms
Do you recommend the 250 for mixing
And is my interface of 47 ohms enough to power the 250 ?

If in my Headphone signal to noise ratio is 108dB. The headphone output impedance is 63 ohms. Which 770 pro are best suited 32 vs 80?
How do you check if your interface can handle 250 ohms?
what would be best for my blue yeti, the 250 or 80?
I’ve heard that new MacBooks Pro since 2021 support 250 ohms without using a external audio interface, I understand that the Mac automatically recognizes how much power needs the headphones so is not needed an external interface to use the headphones. Jhann is in mind. Do you consider that is still necessary to get an external audio interface for this headphones?
Simple like this, based on what i have: 770pro 250ohm powered from STX II - set amplifier for 600omh and your in :) What to do with native 600 ohm with STX II - to low.

Does the MOTU M2 have enough power to drive the 250 Ohm version?
yes it can
So even with a receiver that can power huge speakers, I'd need a separate amplifier if I wanted to get the 250 ohm headphones?
If i have Audient ID4 audio interface, that interface can handle the 250 ohm version ? I m getting these headphones only for mixing, and for recording session to monitoring when someone recording some vocals, that s ok ?
Would the roland duo capture ex be able to properly power the Beyerdynamic DT 990 250 ohm?

Does the 80 ohm version good directly plugged in to the mobile devices or electric drumkit without external audio interface?
Is there any audio quality difference in 32ohs, 80ohs or 250ohs
I have been searching but I can't find answers. Will the Behringer UMC202HD be able to power the 250ohms and still have the highest quality the headphones can provide?
Thanks Jerry =)
Great breakdown. Definitely sounds like the 80ohms are the ones for me, just wish they had a coiled cable option. You can buy that separately but have to use souldering to attach it. Not my area of expertise...
