I am lucky in that I am a steward of a Little Free Library. I always have a lot of fun picking books to fill my LFL. I also am lucky in that many are books I want to read myself. So, I have had to limit my own TBR. I allow myself no more than 20 books for myself- and if there is something I want to read, I have to give one from my TBR stash. I have had some problems with resellers coming to my LFL and scanning the books and I have been cleaned out before. So now I only put out half newer more popular books and the rest are good shape, but older. Thank you for sharing your sourcing places with us.

Lol that is too funny! Yes it's a whole trip. So I have gone to those and there are a few others but I am not able to source from them as the prices are too high for resale or their selection isn't what I'm looking for, unfortunately
Can you talk more about the criteria you use for buying books? I’m so used to Amazon and this seems fairly difficult. The Stephen king book sells for 6.27 for Amazon so I would never think to pick it up.
That makes me so sad! Not all Goodwills are created equal for sure 😅 The secondary thrifts are really good for me right now so glad there are other options!
Hello, so I don't scan books at all, my sourcing is mostly just from visually scanning the shelves and reading the synopsis. I utilize the ebay app for some comping and the good reads app for book ratings and reviews. A lot of my sourcing is just picking up the things I know sell and mixing in a few items that a new or I want to test to see if there is a market for it.

Goodwills in my area aren’t big on books. They told us they usually get tossed after 8months
