Thank you for this. Also, has anyone ever told you that you kind of sound like Professor Snape from Harry Potter? Your distinctive voice makes it easier to pay attention.
good video. you did left some details out as to why you deleted the asset out of SCCM prior to imaging. I know why you did but for some that do not, it is because SCCM wont deploy the image if it sees the asset already in SCCM. It wont image because SCCM will see that the asset exists because of the serial number and mac address. Basically like a security feature. Delete it out of SCCM prior to imaging. but yea brother, overall great video and easy to follow.
Thank you for the video Carson When I try booting over pxe boot I get the TFTP message: PXE-T01: The specified file was not found PXE-E3B: TFTP Error - File Not found
Hi Carson, your video is easy to follow. However, I have a WDS and was using that with SCCM. But, it's not working, so i followed this turorial, used my existing ISO and boot file and set "Enable a PXE responder without Windows Deployment Service". This turned off WDS Service and turned on CONF MANG but it doesn't boot to PXE at all. It is in a loop when i check IPV4. Never gets to the boot process. Any help would be appreciated.
Please i need help on how to solve this: 1. Create and capture Windows 10 dynamic image using Microsoft Configuration Manager native tools (Windows 10 version supports Dell hardware)
2. Develop a custom Operating System Deployment Task Sequence to deploy the captured Windows 10 image
3.Deploy the relevant Dell Driver Packs during the Operating System task sequence
4. Test the Operating System Deployment Task Sequence on Dell models that support Windows 10
Hi Sir, Thanks for this video. You are able to solve 1 of my 2 pending task in OSD. Can I ask how am i going to correctly deploy time and date through OSD in different region? Am I going to create an “ Apply Window Setting” to all the country supported?
Microsoft Cloud Guy Thank you sir. By the way you mean this GPO? Group - Configure Timezone (no conditions) Group - Pacific - (run if SMSDP = pacific region) Run Command Line - Set Pacific time - uses command (cmd /c tzutil.exe /s "Pacific Standard Time") Group - Eastern - (run if SMSDP = eastern region) Run Command Line - Set Eastern time - uses command (cmd /c tzutil.exe /s "Eastern Standard Time") Group - London - (run if SMSDP = London region) Run Command Line - Set London time - uses command (cmd /c tzutil.exe /s "GMT Standard Time")
Awesome Videos but could you answer a quick question? How would I go about making an image available to a bunch of laptops I don't have on the domain yet? I'd like to just PXE boot them up and install the image without having to add them to device collections??
Hello Sir, I have one question related to the sccm configuration manager. Whenever i create os boot images, distribute & it deployed successfully but if i deploy boot sequence its not arrived in software center on target computer. what could be a reason please reply it would be great favor. Thank you
you are boring, all you doing is doing it but why this and that not just go here and there do this and that explain why and the interfaces don't just speak out your doing and where and how to create the packages.

Is this all using best practices?
Great tutorial thanks!
Thanks for sharing...
what is the best way of deploying these images without physical input on the computer the image will be installed on? as this isn't always practical
Thank you for the video Carson
When I try booting over pxe boot I get the TFTP message:
PXE-T01: The specified file was not found
PXE-E3B: TFTP Error - File Not found
Thank you, so following these steps the PXE server should be able to start listening to all network requests for providing images?

What is the boot wim that you use? the one for WINPE or the one that provides the windows media tool kit? boot.wim?

you can use the unattend xml file and create variable for the TS. the other option is to use the GPO.
Microsoft Cloud Guy I did checked the unattend.xml and the variable %OSD TimeZone% is not listed. Should I add it? via GPO means?
I suggest do it the GPO is easier to do.
Microsoft Cloud Guy Thank you sir. By the way you mean this GPO?

good one
Thank you!
you can have sccm deployment share to run on a usb disk just like you can with MDT
Have you created a task sequence to remove the WIndows 11 bloatware? If so can you provide me with some insight?
Thanks,

You should to pxe boot them. The task sequence will do everything for you
Make sure deploy the TS to unknown device collection in SCCM
Is this the actual deployment of windos10 on a machine..and what about patches
You can add patches deployment in TS
The net environment should be DHCP?
Yes
Someone please help me the process to create a package using .CAB file in SCCM please
Thank you so much ,kindly to assist, my vm is not picking up the PXE boot ,but with os installed in wds i find no problems
make sure add PXE server to the VLAN. for home network you need to add DNS server to your router
The boot images folder on my server is empty, SO i dont have that image that ur booting from at 10:55 anymore, is there any way i can get that back?
recreate a boot image
@@CarsonCloud Thank you, it worked
awesome. if you like the video, don't forget to subscribe.

youtube should stop pushing the adverts. This is getting crazy
agree
is it possible to automatically assign a computername without creating it first? like (PC001, PC002, PCxxx) in rising sequence
yes, you have to user powershell script or use CustomSettings.ini
@carsonCloud do you still provide SCCM Training?
Hi Shakell. I do provide free training with youtube videos. what kind of training are you looking for?

what is the difference between boot image and operating system image?
if we create operating system image then boot image gets created automatically or do we need to create boot image externally?
