You inspired me to love my curls...now im trying some products coz d problem is they r making my scalp dry....thanks for making videos like this!Looking forward for more!
@@TheCurlStory thank you so much!! The weight of the length of my hair makes my crown flat and I need layers to add volume but I haven’t yet found a great “recipe” for my layers…. Any suggestions?
My hair needs layers too. The length of your layers will depend on how much your hair springs up when it’s cut and where the layers would be most flattering on you, as the layers can create more volume/width where they land. You can request a consultation with your stylist to review this too. I started with long layers at first, to learn how my hair behaves. I then experimented with shorter layers over time. I’m due for a cut very soon too!
@@TheCurlStory thank you!! I think my biggest fear is that it will be cut too short and I’ll have to grow it out all over again lol hopefully I can find a naturally curly haired stylist, I know that would help a lot! I appreciate your input!!
Hello April. Well done. I can’t wait until I am done growing out my curls. In less than 3 months I will say goodbye to my straight ends. 🙌🏽 I will be a complete curly girl. Have a wonderful day.
Thank you Natalie! Oh, your 3 months will fly by quickly. How are you styling your hair during this transition phase? What has helped your hair the most? Welcome to the curly club! ♥️
April, I am being extra gentle with my hair. My go to styles are a headband or a half updo with a satin scrunchie. Occasionally I will wear a low ponytail. I keep it extremely simple. Thanks for the encouragement.
I'm just seeing you for the first time, and loved this video. Just subscribed and I'm going to check you other videos! Great ideas that I will try 😘 thanks
Thank you! I’m so glad you enjoyed this one! Let me know if I should make a Part 2 and if you have a particular work/office hair problem you’d like me to address! 🌺
Thank you so much Beautiful Minna 🌺 I found the scarf over a year ago at Walmart for $8. I’ll do some shopping to see if there is a similar one available now too.

Congratulations on your curly hair journey!
It can be a challenge to begin with new products. What products are you using and what are your symptoms?
I'm always tempted to wear my hair up in a ponytail at work.
Right?! Lots if updo options here too that won’t damage your curls ✌️ruclips.net/p/PLi-kF4MQ2Nr4plfr4zJiiQ5pkgcb3-IER&feature=shared

What helped me the most is consistency and leaving my hair alone. :)
