"There are no safe spaces!" With this proposition, podcaster, presenter and organizer of the queer-feminist hip-hop party series, "Berries", Dominik Djialeu starts his REEPERBAHN FESTIVAL DEEP DIVE. The reason: Just because one group of people feels safe in a space doesn't necessarily mean that this place is safe for other marginalized groups. That's why Dominik prefers to talk about safer spaces, meaning places where certain groups of people can feel safer and are constantly working to maintain and improve this safety. In this video, he explains how to turn a space into a safer space.

„Es gibt keine Safe Spaces!“ Mit dieser These startet der Podcaster, Moderator und Veranstalter der queer-feministischen HipHop Party Reihe, „Berries“, Dominik Djialeu seinen REEPERBAHN FESTIVAL DEEP DIVE. Der Grund: Nur weil eine Personengruppe sich in einem Space sicher fühlt, muss dass nicht bedeutet, dass dieser Ort auch für andere marginalisiert Gruppen sicher ist. Daher spricht Dominik lieber von Safer Spaces und meint damit Orte, an denen bestimmte Personengruppen sich sicherer fühlen können und beständig daran arbeiten, diese Sicherheit zu erhalten und zu verbessern.
