I'm black and Def Leppard is my favorite band. I have loved them all the way back to PYROMANIA. Joe is still cool although his voice has aged. Dude on lead guitar can't hold a guitar pick up to Phil! I truly miss Steve Clark. That damn fucking alcohol! True band mates and friends when they kept, Rick Allen, on drums after his accident. I love these guys. I'll be a Def Leppard fan until the day, my black ass, takes my last breath. Rock on, guys! You are special. Peace.

He filled in for Viv during a NFL half-time show few years back too.
Joe Robinson....the real genius of this band who's passing has and will forever remain incalculable, he had it all, and was a rock star who oozed cool strapped low 'The Riffmaster'
would've approved of Leppard's choies since his death. Vivian for mine blows Phil away, sure he'll NEVER have that chemistry with Phil but Pete was special too and a killer player.
Steve from Trixter is a solid choice, he was offered the gig twice now due to Phil being needed for family reasons and he had only a few days to learn in effect a set list that mostly 'Steamin' created, some of the most complicatedly intricate guitar parts, melodies, harmonies, bends, hooks and riffing. Steve Brown said at the time quote "Steve's ability to create the most intricate guitar parts was extraordinary, it is like they're in small little boxes". Kinda the same as Phil who in his book 'Adrenalize' noted Steve had that rare gift of "creating a musical wonderment creating a japanese garden" of musical wonderment". That Leppard have toured since Steve's death mostly relying on the massive back catalogue Steve created and as Viv recently said "90pc of what we play Steve left us", a comment Elliot and Sav no doubt would not be happy with but fuck them facts are facts.
For a professional player Steve came in at extremely short notice, learned some of rocks most intricately created songs and just nailed it.
His love of his 'Wolfie' is also a bonus.
Can the haters stop talking crap about def leppard they rock as hell got to remember that they are not young anymore yes I prefer them with steve clark too but they are still amazing and further more stop calling joe elliott fat.

I was at this concert in Hershey, PA and I had a good time. I totally love this band and so in love with Rick Savage! I wish i had closer seats, sitting in the bleechers was rough.

My niece text's me after the concert and said that her life long dream was to see Def Leppard in concert and she fulfilled that dream in Hershey, Pa that night. She's 23 years of age and this is her life long dream??? That's sad... So much more to look forward to then this!!.............Although, major kudo's always to Rick Allen the one arm wonder on the drum kit! I took my daughter to see Leppard 10 years ago and we were right smack up against the fence in front of the stage. The best part of the show was watching Rick Allen playing his self created drum it with tons of mechanical sounds that destroyed the original sound of good 'ol Def Leppard back in the day. Their first two albums, "On Through The Night" 1980 and "High And Dry" 1981 are and always will be their best ever!!

If you guys like Steve, check out Tokyo Fist. Steve is an awesome musician and guitarist. Also, an easy going guy. He and Vivian sound great together. They play smoother melodic lines which are easier to listen to than Phil’s erratic playing fast runs.
Phil is a great vocalist though and Phil’s tone is great. However, Viv and Steve are a powerhouse guitarist lineup.

I miss both Steve’s dreadfully! I loved Clark’s antics on stage. I read an autobiography by Phil Collen it said that Steve Clark had stage fright really bad and he was okay after first song. You never see him singing unless he is in an out of character mood. He suffered from anxiety and had a chemical imbalance that was never treated. He refused treatment at times and would go right back into
The bottle. His band mates begged him to stop and get better. On his “leave” from the band to get better was when he dies in
His sleep from and overdose of meds and alcoholism. He would try to break his knuckles to not go on stage toward the end. That came from and interview from joe Elliot on you tube. And Steve perrry just wanted a normal life according to his interview.
Steve Clark isn't there because he was a Drug addict and Alcoholic, they would have fired him in the end. It's called reality!

It has been on the news that he is taking time off as his wife is having a baby this spring. He better be back though by the time I see them in August! Def Leppard isn't the same without Phil.

Foolin’ is one of all time favourite Def Leppard songs. Great to hear Joes vocals sounding so good. Shame they didn’t turn him up a bit.

I think if Viv or Phil ever had to leave the band, and if the decision was made to keep DL going, Steve Brown would make a great permanent replacement. He’s now filled in for both and done an excellent job. Obviously I would prefer that not to happen, but if it ever should...

As much as I love DL, I don’t think I would’ve went if Phil weren’t there. I also don’t like how they did Foolin as the third song. It kinda slows the show down. They should’ve saved it towards the end.

Olivia McCcormick I’m going to the Tampa show in August, Def Leppard’s page really doesn’t say who is opening or closing, but Journeys page says Def Leppard is opening in Tampa. I’m not happy about it, because I’m my opinion Def Leppard should never open. I hope they have it wrong
