Can't believe the shrinking potion was actually relevant to the plot when Amity summoned a baby Titan to squish an entire cupcake factory. But it just ate the cupcakes instead of listening to Amity, and it decided to go squish her parents' factory instead because it knew of her previous crimes against cupcakes and was quite happy to carry out King's revenge. On the way, it caused a lot of inadvertent destruction, including crushing Tibbles by accident... probably. To stop all of this, Amity and Luz had to team up to use the potion to shrink it down to a cute and lovable size and they all lived happily ever after. Except Tibbles, but no one really liked him anyway.
Anyway, time for some actual thoughts on the episode and reaction: This isn't a great episode, it's one of the bottom five, but I do appreciate it for a few reasons. The episode where King and Luz are pulled through a portal and into a Disney-fied animated version of the Doctor Who universe and into a battle between the Fourth Doctor and the Daleks is chilling, but impressive that they got Tom Baker to be the voice actor for the animated Doctor, he hasn’t lost a thing, that voice has an irreplaceable presence…
I mean, Hooty is the house. It not like he can just turn into a backpack and be carried around by someone. And even if he could, the thought of that would be so disturbing that there would be no way Disney would even allow the Dana to allude to it.
That was the last "bad" episode. Now it's time to start this amazing story, with great character development, epic fight scenes and emotional moments and trauma
Hey guys, remember that time Tibbles replaced Eda as Luz's caretaker and Luz says "Fuck Eda, I'm a member of the Piggy Party now!" Good times. Good times.

The addition of a new member of King's species who is smaller and cuter but also kind of annoying 8, Gilbert Gottfried in his last recorded voice roll. 9. Luz learns to remove her body parts just like Eda 10 The Revelle that Tibbles Cursed Eda and if you take the 1st letter of every episode and line it up spells a message. This season's message is "A witch loses her trust now" Its about how Luz and Eda get in to a huge fight, betray each other and Eda packs up every thing and leaves Luz alone in an empty house. Also Hooty can turn in to a buff man form that the fandom has called "Hoty"
It is pretty odd how King seems to simultaneously fill the roles of cute little brother, weird pet, and wacky roommate. I think the show has always done a great job of handling that though, (and in this case, leveraging it for emotional impact.) Gus clearly views king as "Luz's weird pet / a little kid," so it kind of makes sense that he wouldnt take him seriously. Even though I call it filler, and usually skip it with other reactors, this episode is a pretty faithful depiction of what it feels like to be a younger sibling who loves and looks up to your older sibling, but feels left behind. It gives king an emotional and relatable core to his character that he didn't really have prior. ...So, in summary, no judgement for getting teary-eyed 😂
I never get teary-eyed What are you talking about? I am made of STONE. lol Yes I loved seeing King and Luz's relationship in this one, best part about this episode for me, for that reason alone I find it better than 8 but thats it. @@WeeLassReacts Oh, yes you should, that was absolutely a subtle compliment 💕 "I never get teary-eyed" Yeaaah, okay Mosco. Talk to me again when you're caught up 🤣
When Tibbles starts working for the emperor, that’s when he becomes a good guy. But he also starts hanging out with “thegoldendudeandhispancake” and that’s just weird, because then everyone is like, “WHY IS HE HANGING OUT WITH THOSE GUYS!?” so everyone starts thinking that Tibbles is not a good guy because he might be using the golden dude to get restricted information about the emperor. So Luz and all her friends get the golden dude in on this plan to give Tibbles fake information so that he exposes himself to emperor Belos for who he really is and is “zapped into dust and thrown into the ocean” BUT LITTLE DID THEY KNOW… - stay tuned for the end of the story -
@@WeeLassReacts sorry, my inner sadist came out. Nothing bad or tragic happened to any of the characters, ever, totally not at all. This is a Disney cartoon after all. 🙂
Here we are, folks. Every episode from here on out is gonna be a big one. Anyway, it's a little tragic how this whole episode was about King wanting to feel included, but then everyone just thinks it's fine to ignore Hooty. Don't worry though, he'll have his revenge.
Considering what Gus said in episode 9, about him being constantly overlooked. Him treating King this way seems extra bad imo. King might be cute, but he's fully sentient and can talk! Being treated like a pouting dog seems quite disrespectful and quite frankly out of character for Gus
I think the anime Luz reflection is just making an anime joke. I doubt it's an intended reference, but she does look a whole lot like Kumatora from the game Mother 3.
From this point foward, all the episodes of the show go from high to extremly high cuality. despite not finding this episode as entretaining as most others, at least it establishes the existance of the shirinking potion use to allow the last Titan to hide from the Emperor.
Believe it or not, this is one of the worst episodes of the entire show - and it's still quite good. That's a testament to how damn amazing The Owl House is! This is actually the second story I've seen about a circus of tiny creatures that'd been captured and shrunk. Doctor Who had a similar thing back in the 70s, in the episode Carnival of Monsters.
You Know it was kinda luz's fault that her and king got shrunk because king was trying to explain to luz of why he shrunk gus and willow but luz refuses to listen
One of my least favorite episodes, but I do love how we get to see how much King loves Luz and he’s like the younger brother who just wants to hang out with his older sibling. 5. A Flash back to Young Eda and the pranks she pulled when she used to go to school
6.An Episode that was temporarily banned because Gus slapped Basha in the face for picking on Willow, and like it was too close to when Will Smith slapped some one at the Oscars and even though it was occidental they pulled it any way before restoring it after an edit
7. The addition of a new member of King's species who is smaller and cuter but also kind of annoying
8, Gilbert Gottfried in his last recorded voice roll.
9. Luz learns to remove her body parts just like Eda
10 The Revelle that Tibbles Cursed Eda
and if you take the 1st letter of every episode and line it up spells a message.
I never get teary-eyed
What are you talking about? I am made of STONE.
lol
Yes I loved seeing King and Luz's relationship in this one, best part about this episode for me, for that reason alone I find it better than 8 but thats it. Also should I be flattered that you usually skip this episode with other reactors but watched mine? ;) ;) :D :D
@@WeeLassReacts Oh, yes you should, that was absolutely a subtle compliment 💕
"I never get teary-eyed"
Yeaaah, okay Mosco. Talk to me again when you're caught up 🤣
@@rivermichael4357 XDDD my wee bean, I get fucking teary-eyed in episode 16 so I doubt I'll survive being caught up LOLLLLL thisshowwillbreakme
As an american, i am proud to inform you that that is not, in fact, a cookie! That is a piece of candy :D
your love for king is going to be great for season 2, he gets some great stories :)
Can we all just have a moment of silence for the foils we lost along the way.🎻
OMFG HAHAHHAA the SASSS level in this comment is off the chart, mad respect!! Really made me laugh xD
So Luz and all her friends get the golden dude in on this plan to give Tibbles fake information so that he exposes himself to emperor Belos for who he really is and is “zapped into dust and thrown into the ocean” BUT LITTLE DID THEY KNOW…
- stay tuned for the end of the story -
Wow, Mosco, you really love King. Season 2 is going to break your heart so bad.
RIP in peace little dude
DONT YOU DARE!!!! This comment fucking HURT ;.;
@@WeeLassReacts sorry, my inner sadist came out. Nothing bad or tragic happened to any of the characters, ever, totally not at all. This is a Disney cartoon after all. 🙂
Lil' dude's sacrifice will be remembered, always.
Here we are, folks. Every episode from here on out is gonna be a big one.
Anyway, it's a little tragic how this whole episode was about King wanting to feel included, but then everyone just thinks it's fine to ignore Hooty. Don't worry though, he'll have his revenge.
In their defense, Hooty is... a lot.
HAPPY belated BIRTHDAY!!
The pink hair foreshadowing
Where?
Considering what Gus said in episode 9, about him being constantly overlooked. Him treating King this way seems extra bad imo.
King might be cute, but he's fully sentient and can talk! Being treated like a pouting dog seems quite disrespectful and quite frankly out of character for Gus
I agree with this, Gus was VERY out of character here
Just realized the fly killed itself to stop listening to Hooty. RIP fly 😂
First Code: A WITCH LOSES A TR...
Second Code: TWO WITCHES TORN APART NOW ALONE, TWO HEARTS OF STONE A CURSE OF FEATHERS...
Just 2 more episodes until King gets turned into Luz's Palisman and Belos cracks him like an egg to heal is nose.
I- wait, what? :(
Say goodbye to chill episodes
Happy birthday! Mine was on Halloween!
I think the anime Luz reflection is just making an anime joke.
I doubt it's an intended reference, but she does look a whole lot like Kumatora from the game Mother 3.
No better flavor combination than mint and chocolate.
From this point foward, all the episodes of the show go from high to extremly high cuality.
despite not finding this episode as entretaining as most others, at least it establishes the existance of the shirinking potion use to allow the last Titan to hide from the Emperor.
I LOVE YOU MOSCO! 💞
I made one of my characters have your name cause your name is really pretty.
AWWWW thank you so much!!! :D I'm glad you like the name! I've had it since I was 11 :D
Did you know narwhals have tusks not horns and can sometimes have two tusks😊
A witch loses a tr-
I did hear that there are different bits or versions of the Pride Flag hidden in every episode.
That looks like a candy bar
Hooty is always the best, and there is one episode that will confirm this. You'll know it when you see it.
...that's a candy bar.
10:20 looks a bit like Anthy from Utena or Hitomi from Escaflowne.
1:44 yeah sure always comes back....
Im a few weeks late, but happy birthday!!
I like that shirt and want it.
And I love your little fun facts/history lessons. Much more interesting than anything I actually learned about in history class! 😂
Awww thank you Abby :D
Anime Luz is a reference to Luz's future romantic partner
Ohh. You mean that guy.
