    Thank you for this. Presumably the 38mm WG is not enough pressure to displace the water you put into traps to seal them. Good tip on placing the manometer on a board to prevent kinking.

      Hi yes as the WG pressure rises it just about stay in the trap.

    Has anybody invented the long reach donut plug so you dont have to reach down into a stinking drain?

    👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿🍺🍺🍺The drain plugs are brillo when changing toilets 👍🏿 keeps the smell of 💩💩💩💩 down from an open soil stack 🙌🙌🙌🤣🤣

      Yh I always see plumbers stuffing rags down them surprised more people don't use the plugs.

      Hi the kits are easy to come by, most plumbing shops sell them and also stores like Screwfix.
