That Explorer model was made with a front-wheel drive engine that was damaged by a garbage path. I'll stick with my 4.0 rear-wheel drive. The truth is that Ford's engineers are of no use, stop me, it's the same old medrioque that makes the Tauros, which were garbage just like all your vehicles with a transverse engine.

Easier to remove the entire front bumper and radiator ..done mine in one day 2017

Why doing weird crap with wood no need lol I just finnsihed one at my shop use a jack stand on each corner and done didn't even move a milimiter
So he was on wheels.....your jack stands have wheels?

Is it easier to drop the engine like this or take it out the top? How long does this take to come out the bottom?
@imadog131 has to come out the bottom and it's a big job you have to have good mechanical knowledge and skill
