I just recently have been learning to use parchment paper which is heat and stick proof.. etc.. experiment with parchment paper instead of waxpaper and see if it is better at releasing when peeling off than the waxpaper was. I do not know but if it makes the peel easier that is just a bonus :)
Great video, thanks! I need to repair a small hole on a massive 8 man airbeam tent. I can't see a way to do it without having the tent erected which means I can't apply weights to the patch. Is this likely to cause any issues?
I doubt it- just make sure you have a lot of contact between the patch and the tent. You could have a friend go inside the tent and each of you use a book or something to press the patch on. The weight is mostly to make sure the patch is fully in contact with the tent fabric as it cures. But you might have issues if you're patching the airbeam itself, if you have air trying to force its way out of the hole as the adhesive is drying.
thanks for this video, i havent had any issues with my tents/fabrics but ill be referring to this when the time comes. easy to follow instructions.
Great video, well worth rescuing festival tents and patching them correctly.
Exactly! Hopefully this helps you give some broken tents a new life!
Take care of excess splooge when repairing 😂 I love your videos so much

I found your tents recently, I really like the design. Maybe you can make a short video on how to use your second zipper slide when needed.
I think u can just slide it past the zipper ‘garage’ or just cut it so they can slide by
it's on the list!!
Thanks
Thanks. Do you dilute the seam sealant or just use it neat?
Neat! We dilute it for actual seam sealing but for repairs we use it full strength for maximum adhesion.
@@SlingFin1 thank you!
