I owned the version with chrome-panels on the tank in the 70s. I was so proud❤. Several times the police stopped me, because they couldn't believe that it was a 50 cc-bike. Two exhausts! Once an officer ( driving a BMW-bike) kneeled down and counted the teeth behind the chain. I said : take a ride and test it yourself.😂 There were other bikes, that were faster. But no one was prettier!
I had a Honda SS50 (Super Slug) 4 speed back in 1974 and although it got me around. It was very slow. My mates had Yamaha FS1E's which were much quicker, and better looking, but they were not very reliable. I liked these Puch mopeds, especially the M50 and the good looking Monza mopeds. They were great times, and there were some great bikes on the market such as the Suzuki and Kawasaki triples, and loads of every kind of bike from those small sports mopeds to the big multi cylinder bikes in both 2 stroke and 4 stroke versions. And most bikes were under £1000 "Great Times"
they were all great bikes at the time. and you could work on them yourselves. some could do 50 to 60 mph I always liked the puch grand prix 50cc late 70s
Nice to see one with dual exhaust! Those are rare. Is it original color? Or have you repainted it? Im looking for the color code for this type of moped.
+Cuntdestroyer haha, my friend who was filming was cycling, I think I was riding 20 km in 3 gear or something. I just started riding the damn thing im a better rider know hahah.

I had one in the early 90s exactly the same as yours but with pedals to start and a single exhaust from factory

My first moped was the Puch back in 1979 but I'm sure it wasn't twin exhaust !

OMG it sounds so TIRED! Is it 1 Horsepower?
no, it was 2.6 now after a full engine rebuild it got a 5ph cilinder. and yes for a two stroke its a pretty low sound.
I love it

Lower RPM's means it will last longer : ))
