Richard, you have done such a fantastic job creating these videos. As a new owner of 2021 Ascent TS, I love watching these videos you’ve created as I learn a lot even if this one is a different chassis. Thank you for highlighting the notes on winterizing. I look forward to seeing a future video on how to de-winterize, hint hint, as it will be my first year having to de-winterize. Love this PW as well.

So happy to hear you are enjoying these walk-throughs! You can expect a de-winterizing video in the near future :)

Great Video Pleasureway!!!Thank-you Richard for tagging all the bases with your presentation .Super job on breaking down each item covered into mini chapters making it possible to zero in on exactly what you are searching for. We purchased our Ontour 2.0 last March and had a very informative orientation at the dealership. However having said that along with the excitement of our new purchase and all the different items that were covered I feel there was a fair bit of info we failed to retain .Being a Newbie with our new unit I have to admit the first few outings were a bit of a learning curve .Luckily we were able to figure most everything out and if we were unsure about something we would call PW in Saskatoon and have all our questions answered by a very knowledgeable and friendly rep.
I just wish this vid would of been available last year at this time but overall am very pleased with the outcome as we enjoyed quite a few fun camping trips last summer. We are planning on driving from AB to the East coast this coming season and looking forward to new adventures in our little house on wheels. Being a tent camper all my life I have to share with you one of my favorite experiences about our PW. It relates to a cold fall night camping in the mountains and the feeling of having that warm air from that tiny little furnace blowing at your feet while sitting on the edge of the bed....AMAZING!!!!
    Thank-You PW team

Would like to see a video of the 2024 Ontour 2.0 awd and the upgrades. I understand you now have 600 amps. Is it possible to upgrade the 2022 or 2023 to 600 amps ?

Amazing. I have the almond colored cabinetry but it’s 2 toned-- all the doors are a darker color than the cabinets/walls.

Lots of info here. Does this rv come in AWD. I saw another video that showed the 2023 Ontour 2 and 2.2 with the AWD option. Perhaps you could show the benefits of the AWD.

Nice video, a couple things missed. With the Spyder Panel off, the solar system will still charge the batteries as will the alternator. Second the USB ports are behind the two ottomans. On the sewer hose attachment, the outlet will swing down a few degrees if needed and needs to be put all the way back up before driving off. I have yet to find out how to turn on the rear camera while driving forward if needed from the touch screen and not in reverse. Have a great day.

Greetings. Thanks for your comment and additional tips! You are correct, the 12V battery disconnect @ 13:28 simply disconnects all 12V load on the coach batteries and does not stop charging from any of the four sources (solar, alternator, shore power or generator). However @ 14:03 Richard explains that the Charge Line Disconnect (Red Key) is what will disable the solar system and alternator from charging the coach batteries. Thank you!

    Hello Richard,
Question - you state in the video that the charge line disconnect prevents the solar panels and alternator from charging the batteries. What about the generator? If I exercise the generator in below-freezing temperatures, will that damage the batteries, or will it also be prevented from doing so by the charge line disconnect? Thanks!

Hi Bob, you are correct that the charge line disconnect only prevents the solar panels and alternator from charging the batteries. The generator will still send a charge to the batteries with the charge line disconnected. So, we suggest ensuring the batteries are fully charged before storing the coach for winter. The coach batteries will NOT except a charge if they are fully charged. If your batteries are depleted while in below freezing conditions, we suggest running your furnace to heat the interior of the coach to get your batteries to above freezing temperatures. Then it would be safe to run the generator. If you have any further questions I suggest giving our service department a call here: 1-866-347-8919

I own a 2.2 however this is very helpful! What does the solar “bulk” button do on the power page? Thanks.

    • @pleasureway
      @pleasureway  2 года назад

The bulk button is a display of the current solar panel charge setting. The controller automatically cycles through three charging stages: Bulk, Absorption and Float. Bulk is the normal charging mode for fast charging. Once the batteries are fully charged, the controller with automatically change the setting to Float, which simply maintains the full charge. The Absorption charge mode is less commonly used as our lithium batteries prefer the fast charge from the Bulk setting. I hope that helps.

Richard at 21 minutes in this video you have an error. When demonstrating the LP quick connect. You showed replacing the plastic plug but then you turned the valve to the on position. You said shut but showed moving the valve from off to ON. You might want to edit the video if someone does that it could be dangerous.

    • @pleasureway

Hey Tim, good catch. The LP quick connect will only allow propane to flow through it when the proper LP hose is connected. So even if shut-off valve is in the ON position as long as there is no hose attached propane will not be able to flow through.

Do you need to keep the door open while fueling up? I can’t see that being good in a rain storm or windy. Maybe I’m wrong in thinking it needs to stay open.

Hello! You can shut driver side door when refuelling. You need to open the fuel fill door first, then you can shut the drive door and you will still have access to the fill. Thanks!
