I’m good with my 2011 Edge Limited she still just fine and runs great. Been holding out for Ford to come out with “wow” version. The new Explorer is looking pretty good !
My 2011 Edge was one of my fave cars I owned until someone drove it without permission and crashed it T_T Such a great looking car. I would def still be driving it.
It just looks frumpy to me. The interior tho is really nice. The screen however just looks out of place. They should have just redesigned it and then put the screen in there.
I must be the only one who loves the way it looks. Everything else looks overstyled. Judging by the explorer and escape, the redesign will have worse suspension tuning and glitches. This one is still comfortable.
I have a 2015 edge that I love. Looking to eventually replace it but every year it seems to look more and more outdated, and the build quality goes down. Lots of room in both rows, comfortable, and quiet though. Price point this car still makes a lot of sense. It’s also an easy oil change for those that are into changing their own.
Thank you for including in your last several reviews the presence of a spare tire - some brands/models have dropped that feature in favor of a can of flat-fixer - a nasty surprise if it’s 2:00 AM on the Interstate! 😳Great review - really liked the new screen. Congrats on 208k subs, too! 😎

Glad the dealership didn't have any 2021's in yet, not a fan of that new control screen. If you want something flashy with less horsepower check out the GMC terrain.
I brought the 2020 Edge Titanium last month. I love it. I could have purchased the 2021 for about the same price but the huge screen was a turn off for me. Trying to look like a Tesla screen I guess. It never turns out well when they put something this large in a cabin never meant for it. That bezel is huge and the integration is terrible. I have one as a work vehicle and the hood bulge at the corner windshield/fender line irritates me and forces me to raise the seat. A pillars are thick and dash is long which dont help. A VW Atlas cross sport with the turbo 2.0 is comparable and much better sight lines and great to drive. Don't get me wrong, the edge drives decently. I just prefer the VW if it was my $.

Last time I drove one, it was still dragging along with the same Select Shift 6-speed that's in my Fusion.
Make no mistake the 8 speed in the newer models is not exactly an upgrade over the 6F35 in the previous edges/fusions. The new transmission is based largely on the old 6F35 with a new second gear and a new eighth gear. The way they did it makes the shifting really awkward as the shift from 2-3 is much smaller than 3-4. It makes driving it an unpleasant experience, so much so that TSB's are coming out to update the characteristics of the transmission software.
