Thanks for recording this and sharing your experience of the first ever NZ Derby. I have Auckland FC season seats and went down to Welly to see this match. The atmosphere was great, the fans behaved and even though my wife and I were in Auckland FC shirts most of the weekend, we were always treated with respect. Yes, it WAS a close match and unfortunately for Wellington, your goalie made a huge mistake which we took advantage of. The second Auckland goal by Brimmer put the final nail in the coffin so late in the game. Again, cheers for this!

i didnt even know AUCKLAND had a team till i looked at the league fixture last week they a FLYING AUCKLAND i love how good they a gooing they a 6 wins 0 losses leading the a league comp is awesome i hope soccer in nz gets alot better they won the 2nd derby this week 2-1 i think thats 2-0 aucklands way crowds will get bigger with nz teams improving much bigger followings i hope shares rugby & few other sports in same light
