Thank you so much whanau for tuning in. Haven’t really shown this much of my life before in this way and was nervous, so appreciate the love this has had already ❤
Locals should be proud of this place. I moved from Gizzy to Wellington 4 years ago and been living in Wainuiomata for 2 years. Reminds me of home as it has that community feeling.
This is awesome uso!! Loved how you showcased our home town. Can take the boy out of the Nui but you can’t take the Nui out of the boy aye. Even to see your house, some good memories there. Far even had a photo from when we done the haka at my grandpas funeral. Was even picturing where you were driving. Definitely blessed to call Wainuiomata home. Love you uso 🙏🏼❤️
Homestly I love living in Wainui ❤ the people are super kind and wholesome! My wife works in one of the pharmacies and she gets recognised all the time and it's amazing haha
one of the benefits of a small city upbringing is being in communities like these! growing up in big cities had all the cool shops and takeaways but growing up rural is just unbeatable
WAINUIOMATA is the center of the universe. We might not have a lot here but as a community we are unmatched in how we come together and support each other
This made me think of all the crazy lols I had growing up that seemed so normal, but my kids who have grown up mostly on the GC wouldn't get. I love Wainui
I’m from Ptown bro and had the meanest college rugby games in Wainui. Use to get sledged hard by the intimidating locals. The griffins factory had a nice scent and we always had post match feeds at the lookout. Also went for dips at the river near the bush tracks. Shot for repping your hometown uce.
This was beautiful bro, thanks for sharing your home and how it shaped you. An inspiration to all the whānau from your town, and for all us from little towns in Aotearoa!
Thanks for sharing my bro! always loved your nek of the woods as a young boy who grew up in Porirua lol. Had many whanau and friends settle over there too.
