I agree with you 100%. People think that OP TCG will be better without collectors - that's huge misunderstanding in my opinion. Your video is a really healthy perspective. I wish more people understand that players and collectors need to be in the TCG bo built a healthy environment.
As a huge OP fan, i was excited to collect the mangas i own psa 10s of all. im not a scalper i paid lots of money for cards i loved. it felt good to hold a rare card i didnt mind the market flucutaiong but reprinting mangas and god packs will flood the market.. sadly i wont be collecting OP anymore
It is a shame to hear, I think the god packs will be super hard to pull so it's possible we don't see a huge supply but we obviously don't know unfortunately
You're absolutely right about the haters. They hate everyone because they hate themselves. They project that onto everyone else. If they spent more time improving tghemselves and working on getting better a tlife instead of trying to drag others down, they might have some success in their lives too? Sad cases.
It's not like people are "investing" in a game. Let's say you open 1-2 boxes per set just for fun. You end up hitting manga card out of sheer luck. You paid no more than 200$ for 2 boxes. Manga is worth like 800$. It's not like you're "investing" in it. But how would you react when you'd heard that because Bandai is reprinting the price now drops to 300$ for your manga? Are you happy about that? I don't think anyone can look in the mirror and say that with straight face.
Common trend in tcgs is that if game isn't growing it's dying in people's minds. Balance is incredible hard to obtain. Maybe this will weight how good the game actually is. Is it that much better than digimon for example?
This might be the best review about manga reprint I’ve seen so far, thanks! Many people don’t understand that OP needs collectors I always chase rarity and aesthetic, price doesn’t matter to me at all What Bandaï did is a red flag to me and I won’t chase any more rare cards - they just killed the rarity here
Appreciate your kind words, 100% One Piece has some of the prettiest cards made, but the mangas being reprinted just doesn't sit right with so many it's clearl
Only thing im upset about is that i can now open my 5 cases and theres a chance i wont pull my nami, which is the main reason i bought the cases to begin with.
The reprints wont look the *exact* same so the originals shouldn't lose value. It's like saying "Oh well, Alpha Black Lotus is dogs**t now because there are Beta and Unlimited versions"
They have a start at the bottom, but the art is the same. Difference between Black Lotus and these is, players have a cheaper version to play with, so these are pure for collectors.
@@poketinking To be honest, the photos from the showroom in Malaysia are the only evidence suggesting that this is legitimate. The stamped Ace and Sabo cards could easily be custom-made to "promote" the store with fake news (yes, there are proxy cards with stamps). When asked for evidence in the comments he responded with "McDonalds" and happily pushes preorders in the comments. Kinda fishy. Also, people are confusing the photos showing reduced manga prices. Those aren't selling prices; they are actually buying prices that got lowered because of the rumors (PSA 10 Shanks for around 200ish bucks? Come on). On the other hand, the fact that these cards are not listed in the official card list raises doubts (I know there are some missing cards, but they're still not included). Plus, why weren't they featured in the promo video? Right now, it feels like a 50/50 situation. We need more confirmation to be sure. But if things turn out as people are assuming, it will be a slap in the face for every collector who made the effort to pick up mangas from the start, and it will drive many of them away from the TCG.
@@poketinking As i said, its not confirmed by Bandai. You might be right, you might be wrong. We prolly just have to wait 5 more days to see whats going on.
Resellers aren’t crying it’s the people that paid those resellers prices 🤣 sorry you got hustled lil bro you vote with your wallet. We can afford manga rares but it doesn’t mean we are going to pay rip off prices. When you buy a $3000 card you’re going to have to find another buyer to get your money back so it’s a risk allot of smart people aren’t willing to take not because we can’t afford it.

100%, you need the balance between both to give a game it's best chance to survive ,which is in the interest for all.
Watching prices become half way affordable and especially watching the scalpers cry. It's great
Time to buy
Fake News there are Nil Manga reprints
Time to cry.
Thanks for the breakdown. I really didn't know much about this topic but was curious!
Thanks for watching Ted, Appreciate the support ❤️. I'm hoping this has helped those who may be new to the game

100%
I would never invest any decent value in a Bandai game, play for fun at best
Makes sense honestly

None of these ppl understand Bandai lol
You need to get into sorcery. Such a great game. And such a collectable game as well
There's no scene unfortunately around me, and the product is hard to find. I'll be getting some Arthurian Legends, so I'll try then
Fair call. Im in aus and have sold a fair few alpha and beta singles to people in the uk.
Aurthirian legends should be wicked
Amazing insight lad. Agree with it all
Appreciate that mate, thanks for watching!

This will definitely be a test for the game, interested to see how this plays out

Yeah, the Nami is what a lot of people would have been buying for. I guess you could trade for Nami, but I know pulling it yourself it more special
Great vid mate
🙌🙌🙌 thank you, mate appreciate it
Reprint to the ground! 🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣

Nothing has been confirmed yet...
Have you not seen all the photos online they're from a bandai store.

With Manga reprint will kill this game. Just like other TCG.
It happens yeah hopefully it doesn't but could be bad news
