Fantastic. I lived in Summerland Key (mm25) for 25 years. For a few years in the early 2000s I raced an F 31R in a winter race series sponsored the Schooner Wharf. Nice memories
WOW Awesome video, I just bought a 1988 F27 I can not wait to get it on some open water and constant breeze! Right now I am on a shifty small lake, this boat looks like it can GO! Awesome!
WOW! AWSOME video & music! Love your light weight Bimini...I have been thinking of doing the same for mine (F27 hull 292) did you DIY of purchase? Hope to bring the boat down from the frigid NORTH one winter and sail your area...Looking forward to your next production!
Hi Michael, Congratulations on getting an F-27! That is the “Trimini”. Not to be confused with a Bimini which is more common on f-boats. It was originally invented by dealer The Finish Line, I resurrected the design. It has some advantages (light, no deck fittings to trip over, easy access out onto the nets, can slide backwards or forward, easy to stow), but you have to make it yourself, whereas you can order a Bimini from any canvas shop. If you are interested, I posted how to construct on the FCT forum. Cheers, Sackville
@@sackvillecurrie4519 So, a tri-hull is dependent upon manual steering or an electrically based autopilot? Ahhh. That is disappointing. That needs to be fixed!

One of the best sailboats ever made: the F-27. I miss mine.

You sure do keep your boat in great shape Sackville. Thanks for all your guidance
Nice set up for running rigging. Lovely boat
Great stuff! I think you’d enjoy sailing whitewater bay too.
Great awesome boat !
Nice vid Sackville, Bob F27 - 444 Oceanside, Ca.
Nice! I'm going to Miami this winter to sail on an F28, we might be making the same trip. Looks like a beautiful sail!
Hoping to make that same trip one day. Excellent video production!
Very nice, wonderful trip, amazing boat...👍
Any relation to the Sackville Currie who gave me my first Farrier multihull ride in Yokohama, 1981-ish?
That would be the same fellow, Giles. But probably more like 1986 ……
That’s an interesting bimini setup on the f-27
Very nice sailing trip, boats, and edit!
Gr8 Stuff…. Can’t wait to get my F-18 in the water!

@@sackvillecurrie4519 Yes please do on FCT, thanks

Hi Michael, I posted the details previously. If you put Trimini into the search function of FCT, you should be able to find it.
Nice ride! The music is horrific though! Stressful!
totally cool boat... but three minutes in this soundtrack is painful. peace, out
Too much theatrics, not enough boating. Really interested in an F27. Who has a great wind based autopilot? Give me some useful info.
Wind based autopilot is not suitable for an F-27. But they work work well on monohulls

HATE the music.
