ATTENTION:
I had the same issue with my Honda Civic Hybrid. Before changing out entire system try replacing clutch coil first(about 130$). Common problem. Only time you should have to replace entire unit is when compressor is seized.
Great video. More investigation must be complete
Did you go original or after market?
@@christianmartinez7161OEM. All I replaced was the Clutch coil
you saved me thousands, thank you!
Excellent video! Such great detail. Thank you.
Hey brother...thank you for the video. It was exactly the way you had it in your video. Thanks again. Amazing.

Good Job, by any chance do you have the Part number of the AC Compressor?? I have the same type of car my AC went out. I need to replace it too some places they want $2200 to get it replace
I bought it online from a place in California. I will look for the website and post it later on
Did you fix your compressor? What was wrong with it or did you buy another one? Also if it was fixed, it? Great video
In this compressors, the bearing goes out and it takes the coil and compressor with them…. You have to buy all 3 pieces, I bought them online. Labor was easy as shown in the video, overall parts are expensive but the car is worth it
Where did u buy parts? @@GarageBoys
Is it possible to install a regular compressor on there to save money? Hybrid compressors are insanely expensive. Obviously it would only operate when the engine is running.
I’m not sure but I don’t think so. And yes they are expensive, I tried replacing just parts of it but it didn’t work. Once a part goes bad it messes up the whole compressor. You are better off buying it complete
Would this work the same way for a Acura ILX hybrid too?
Don't see the link for the compressor
How much did you pay for the compressor? Was it new or reman?
Anybody know best place to buy parts?
I have my compressor from the dealer, but, I don't know if needs oil, how can I know, binstructions did not say anything
Where can I get one?
I have New compressor, but, , how to😂 know if there is oil inside my compressor???, instructions didn't said anything
Would the 2013 Honda Civic Hybrid AC compressor work on my 2012 Honda Civic Hybrid?
Yes it's the same generation
