Please, don't get depressed or hopeless after His 'bird example'.
He just meant that tendencies of the mind are very strong and you need to have extraordinary will power(something you can develop) to attain it.
He said, what Adi Shankaracharya said - "Nischala Tatve Jeevan Mukti", which means -
"If you've unwavering focus. Liberation cannot be denied to you."
Because, He's(Swamiji) the same person who said that liberation doesn't take much time. Only an intense effort of around 10k hours.
And, He also said about 'pravritti'.
Something explained in His book 'Kundalini - Am untold story'. That, you've to use the very things that're the cause of your downfall, to attain the greatest heights.
Don't lose hope. Hope it helped :) ❤️
