I’m new to the scale model trains. Your weathering is spot on. The towns buildings also get the same weathering attention adding to the realism. Thank you for sharing.
I was a member of this club 15 years ago. Its amazing how its changed from the old layout. I remember joining when they were in the Fox Valley mall before it was torn down.
not to long ago on a road trip of mine we saw some BSNF trains go by with miles of coal cars behind them it was very fun to see it, it was an amazing site
One of the best layouts. Great detail. Fantastic camera work. like the at ground levels shots the best (5:45) and great detail. At (20:20) fantastic. Very talented people in your club. Great - Fantastic.
It looks like some people do great work on weathering and car decals. I love seeing modern equipment modeled, but it looks like the layout was meant for an older era.
That's the blessing and curse of modular layouts. Club members have the freedom to model in their own style/era on their own section. Everything from the steam era to 90s intermodal to modern times is represented.
17:48 what is that purple snakie stuff on the hill? But great layout even the phone booth on the corner nice touch the detail is excellent thanks will subscribe!!
I think the layout is really good and video is excellent but am I the only person in the room that does think that weathering is a required thing? Generally I feel that if people would spend as much time on the quality of their scenery as they do weathering cars it would be a lot better. Get that super right then if you have run out of things to do start tarnishing the rolling stock and locomotives. Just my opinion
How could you people do this terrible thing to all those nice "bright and shiny" locomotives and cars by putting all that gunk on them? Why they almost look real!!!! What thinking model railroader would want to do something that uncommon to their pretty trains? Excellent job. One thing to consider try not to do full run by shots all the time even when the cars look sooooooo sweat.
I really want to have something like this but really can't afford to especially buy the train set. Id there anyone who want to give to me because maybe have more or maybe someone share I would love to receive it.thanks
I will NEVER add graffiti to my model rail cars as I totally disagree that individuals think they have a right to deface private property in this way!!! I will NEVER have any "cattle" cars in my train layout as I do not eat beef and I believe they way in which 99% of the cattle are "processed" is inhumane and cruel.

What a great layout, the weathering on the cars is superb. I love the red and silver warbonnets.
As a lineman, liking those line poles along the tracks.
Superb custom weathering, especially the Diamond Shamrock chemical tanker. 👍
The downtown scene is incredible! Really beautiful work.
As the thumbnail, I had to look twice to decide if it was a IRL drone view or a model!

Beautiful, well detailed and smooth running layout. Your club should be very proud.
I like the pace of the trains this adds to the realism of the layout
Every time I watch it I see something I missed the detail is excellent!
Good filming , scale speed , sound and weathering .

Nice weathering, really realistic
Beautiful layout. I really love the Heritage Grain Co. Building (at 15:37) is that a kit bashed building? Lookes like its 2 kits combined.

I was thinking the same thing.
@@artkemberling7764 Yeah... The graffiti is a definite anachronism... The autos say, "1950s" but the "tagging" of rail cars was only begun in 1967...
2:48 where did you get that hopper/bathtub gondola/coalveyor?? Please respond.

I had to stop. Too much bell, sound too high, and rarely at track speed. Needs more detail on rocks/mountains. Out of theme era does not match.
Lets see your trains!!!!!
