The father-in-law is always trying to get back at Uuno, for always managing to make his life a living hell (it is almost always his own fault, and his plans backfiring on him) and to get his daughter to divorce from Uuno, so he can get rid of him for good

Ensio Itkonen was this long time driving school teacher and instructor, and appeared in many TV and radio programs in the old days to educate people about driving and traffic laws etc. Hugely influential man in our ''recent'' history.

Is there English subtitles in Uuno Turhapuro DVD:s? Better be sure before buying. I hope there is, but not sure. Never watched them from DVD, only TV.
