you pronounce the name Uuno Turhapuro well, the only real mistake I hear is that it sounds like Uuno turhapuuro (turha puuro =useless porridge), but the difference between a long and a short vowel is quite difficult for many who are learning Finnish.
Yes, but I have found that douple consonants are way More dificult To foreiners. My name In Pentti, and it always Is Penti. Italians do know that douple consonants. Or how Mauro? 😄
@@riikkapitkanen3666 nope I don't speak swedish, it may sound more serious than I meant. because I don't speak very good English either. the main point was that he pronounced the name well.
Your pronunciation is very good! As explained also by others here in the comment section, Uuno Turhapuro is a comedy character created by Spede Pasanen and acted by Vesa-Matti Loiri, these Uuno movies were very popular in Finland in -70's, -80''s and -90's and even today they show these movies in TV regularly. Uuno Turhapuro is a caricature of an average Finnish mans, a bit lazy and untidy in appearance, he is married but is flirting a lot with other women. Uuno is unemployed and is always slaking off. He is married with a daughter (Elisabeth Tuura) of a rich guy (Councillor Tuura) and Uuno is expecting to get a part of hes heritage when he dies. This Councillor Tuura hates Uuno and doesn't like the fact that Uuno is married with his daughter. The family name of the Uuno character could be roughly translated as "useless creek", creek, a small stream of water, but it's not important to know the exact meaning of the name to understand the plot and the jokes :)
Military farces were very common in Finland in the '50s, but then people got tired of them. This film depicted in the clip was made in the '80s and it was some kind of a surprise hit that also produced one famous classic song called "Kesä ja yö" by Eini who appears in the film.

Funny thing, the second lieutenant Naapero with the bike there voices Jafar in the finnish version of Disneys Alladin, and Uuno voices the genie. And the woman, Marina, voices Maleficent in the Disney Sleeping Beauty.
4:40 that is finnish meat soup :D it has potatoes, meat (pig or cow, i personally love moose meat more because its soft and tender xD) and vegetables :D very delicious and filling :D
@@mauronicolo89 Great! Hopefully you can get a decent player cheap. It opens the door to the world of physical media offering more "obscure" stuff compared to streaming services.
