  • What is speech therapy for aphasia? In this video, Moshe Mark Ittleman, who has specialized in speech therapy for neurological speech difficulties, makes a simple explanation of what speech therapy entails for aphasia and apraxia. We hope it is helpful to have some simple explanations that help people realize what should happen when people are seen for speech therapy.

👋 Hi. Thanks for your motivating videos. I have a question.
Can person talk if he is 23 years old and didn’t talk before, but he started to Initiate some vocals? He has cerebral palsy.

What are vocals? Is it that he is producing a voice or is he able to say some single words? Many always have been quite capable of talking, however, it has always been difficult for caregivers to find exceptional therapists who are dedicated to helping those like your son. The rule of thumb always is to find the best therapist you can, and he or she can advise you based on the assessment findings. Also, realize some are truly geniuses when it comes to any discipline. Please keep searching for the right therapist for your son.
