The guy is only out for himself and looking for a team that can give him the cup instead of a team that he can be a part of to help win the cup for the team. Past behavior usually predicts future behavior, if the preds don't win the cup this year he'll move on to another team.

That's the sign of a guy out for himself. 2) MacKinnon quote about Avs locker room after duchene left: "It did a lot...Now we have everyone here who wants to be here." and there was plenty of talk about his negative effect on the room his last year in CO. 3) Tortorella also called him out (along with Panarin and Bobrovsky) regarding leaving Columbus. 4) Although I don't know the specifics regarding the Sens I highly doubt he was asking to stay there. 5) He was caught disparaging the Sens coaching staff in that leaked uber video which also shows another classless act by a selfish player. I get it, that team was a train wreck and I'm sure many of the players were frustrated but that's not an excuse for that behavior. These are just a few things that come to mind, I'm sure there's more out there and likely plenty more not made public. CO has been way better off the second he left Colorado. It was seriously like a light switch the minute he left, everything got better.
Highlight of the night for me was when Duchene scored a muffin of a goal and celebrated like he scored the OT winner in a playoff game. Thank the lord he’s not in Colorado anymore. I had neutral feelings about him before the game but now I dislike him as a player. What a stupid move to do in Colorado, no wonder why he’s been traded so many times. I hope he felt really stupid after we put up 6 right after that 😂. We don’t mis Duchene one bit, I’d trade him again in a heartbeat.

They like to play dirty, no sense in loosing another top player. Right? (if it was the same scenario but against a non-hard hitting team like.. say, any of the Canadian teams, then he probably would of came back out but it was against a rough Nashville team 😉)
